Nope, the event was mainly to sell off "leftover Preve".

It was not happening as what I expected. Talked with a SA there, and he kinda nice to talk with, he help to confirm with other bosses in other places to check is there still have any stock for 2.0E (2013 car), but all of them said no more and apparently 2.0E stop production during Oct 2013 and only 2.0P is on going. So there is some around 1.8-2k rebate for 2013 model + YES 4G.

ok... now really need to wait for 2014 production car jor sad.gif

free milo, Ok good service center lol! http://twitpic.com/druqr5

first service of my Proton inspira : AMSOIL signature series 0w20, liqui moly ceratec, nano extreme ws2 http://twitpic.com/drv0iv

Was test driving after the first service @1k km The torque is a bit scary lol

finally clean off the residual glue from the Proton event, stick my car registration and Xperia Z1 car mount http://twitpic.com/drvtiz

Lol just now there was a BMW 5 series that was butthurt as f*** ; try to tailgate me but couldn't keep up.
Eventually he did overtook me when I was exiting the highway heading home lol

Seriously though my back is aching a bit from all that torque >_<

Yours is 2.0/1.8MT bro? Inspira can use 0w20 meh won't be too thin for our car ? How much you use 4L? Price? If can use might try it for the next service smile.gif

4b10 aka 1.8MT, and yeah the lancer service manual specifies xw20. rm5x/liter so x4, somemore it's american quart, so 946ml only lol

i got add with ceratec and ws2 so if there's any lack of viscosity, those 2 will easily pick up the slack.

a word of caution is that the SC does jot down in their system/database that i am using own oil, so if engine f*** up, i'm basically on my own.

also AMSOIL Signature series is NOT API certified, and seeing their data sheet will easily tell why:
http://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g2880.pdf

vs SR1/htech 100 plus that ARE api SN certified:
http://www.torcousa.com/technology/TDS_SR-1%20MotorOil.pdf

http://www.motul.com/system/product_descri....pdf?1332236003

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_Base_Number
too high TBN aka addatives that prevent EO breakdown (only why amsoil GUARANTEES 25k miles and 15k miles under severe usage OCI) which will fail emission tests smile.gif
AMSOIL other products are API SN certified though.

he didn't dare to take corners.
his car have twice my HP, normally that car will overtake me like nothing.

besides, he was slow on the fast lane, i ended up tail gating him, then he give way, and start chasing me... and he did kept up until corners come. the fly over on mrr2 overheading fajar is a long straight that's where he was right behind me for the most part, then once the first bend hit he just start slipping behind. only until the shell/petronas twin stations approach that's where he zoom right past me as if he was following me where i turn out to the residential area (flat housing area near the place i stay)

nzh0920 would know exactly where i'm talking about.
also his car would be hitting meter limit at that time. while i was having my tires screaming doing about 160-170 barely keeping up with him wink.gif

my wild ass guesses/weak attempt at trying to be a detective:
- young guy having gf, suddenly some punk ass proton tail gate, obviously need to show her who's the boss driving a BMW
- i'm not worth dealing with at the corners, lousy proton car just willing to go to hell, no reason to risk a bmw accident.
- straight coming, must at least overtake this punk, who'd knew punk chicken out, exit mrr2 highway. FLAWLESS VICTORY.

anyways haven't dyno yet, will do so asap.
not very used to handling such acceleration... the feeling was quite similar to the legacy i test driven previously. not sure it's because of the thrill of having a stick, or maybe it's just a "cheaper" car with lesser nvh/suspension qualities. (like how an iswara could be terrifying at 100km/h while an inspira would feel nothing at that speed wink.gif )

=edit=
btw, xw20 EO makes acceleration really f***ed up laugh.gif
doesn't feel that heavy from stop-go's... of course still can never compare to an iswara but eh... the amount of hp/torque the 4b10 on much lighter viscosity EO can pull is just insane laugh.gif

I'm also using Amsoil but 5w30. Have been using it on my previous ride and just started using it on my lala 2nd service. No complain on this oil. biggrin.gif
However Amsoil not recommending to add additives to the oil. So I follow it and feed the engine 5 quarts without additives.

0.24 ribu for 5 quarts.
I was tempted to use Mitsu oil but I prefer 5w30. tongue.gif

Wah..really hit meter limit meh? I saw my cousin's meter limit is 260kmh wor..if you're doing 160-170..i think he is not even trying leh.laugh.gif

Yeah..0w-20 better check your EO level..since too thin will cause it to drop even faster with how you drive.
