Just a suggestion , If everyone agrees i would like to host a whatapps group for lowyat anglers for purpose below:

i) Planninng for fishing trips , easy feedback and fast response .
ii) Quick discussion or advice need on fishing equipments or trips
iii) And many more we can think of later.

So please let me know your thoughts , the more the merrier. Dont worry you can silent this group and dismiss its notification so it doesnt annoy you if that concerns you.

i think this is a good idea if lots of kaki that always go pancing but i guess depends on location?
i'm in few fishing watsapp group as well so can get to know deep sea trips, bagang/tukun, nearby island, ponds, fishing competition etc
of course it will stray away once in a while or most the time which also keeps the group alive

i based in sabah so not ngam for me, u all go ahead bah

haha well bro, trips can be in sabah or any other place as well. We can even invite outsider to join. The idea is easy access to plan trip and quick feedback.

Hey guys I am new to this tread, I was wondering if anyone can help me by point me the right direction to go fishing in natural ponds. I dont want to fish at pay to fish ponds d.
Im from subang, but I heard near klia got a pond near the airport but not sure where it is.

most public ponds are over-fished. but places like blue lake and prima lake can still get some. all depends on what fish you want to target, really.

hi all..any casting area around jb?.i went to a lake near gelang patah last saturday, use SP & jumpfrog but only got 2 missed call..haih.

bentong area not pay pond. is wild. u can go try your luck. alot of pond there alone the bentong-raub road. other than that, i dont think got anymore in klang valley liao. overdevelopment jor.

sotong season is here ! jigging time !

i kept all my metal lures aside, nowadays, every outing i rely totally on soft bait. lighter, easier to carry. can straight tie to braid, no need leader unless certain conditions. less strenuous than doing vertical.

paddle tail 4" cukup mantap oredi. spooled braid ----> jighead or pinhead -----> glittery skirting ----> soft plastik ------> up fish !
no need goyang all day long and rest 15 minutes . just flick flick and flick flick and flick flick.
