QUOTE(alpha33 @ Jun 22 2016, 04:43 PM) excuse me. 11th street is memang expensive la.so i did a search on 11street. stradic 3000 need rm1.xk above? and spare spool rm4xx onwards. normal? or 11street penipu scanner me? lazada dont have. Not everything there is cheap. It's better if you buy from the distrive tor directly which is Sea Tackle. They do postage if not mistaken. |

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Jun 22 2016, 06:53 PM) Went to Jugra instead of rawang because of the cloudy weather. Few months ago went to the aircond Sealion pond also quite nice the bawal fightBawal galore today. I underestimated its strength. A 500g fish can pull so hard and the fight was a lot longer than expected. |

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Jun 22 2016, 08:31 PM) Yes - that's the one.The bawal pond is covered with aircond. Cant remember how much the fees but the prawn kept overnight seem to be the fav for the Golden Bawals there. Only stayed for 2 hours and got 3 nice ones - my two buddies got 2 each |

update: Using soron stx40 + my 7 feet rod very smooth. So problem lies with my altitude 4000 reel.
Now the shopkeeper tell me, that reel cannot cast far and hard one. This is for sea water fishing. where you sit on boat, let go your line. Thats why your line spool so deep ma...(that was not what he told me in the first place when i get this reel!) so now, since this reel dun have spare spool, can we find one spool and mod it into it?something with the same diameter, but shallow-er spool. got such thing?else this reel is gonna go to waste. reel in discussion. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(alpha33 @ Jun 25 2016, 11:13 AM) update: Using soron stx40 + my 7 feet rod very smooth. So problem lies with my altitude 4000 reel. I find that the soron is awfully rough compared to the silky smooth stradic FJ/FK series. Abu reels are never as smooth as japanese reels. Now the shopkeeper tell me, that reel cannot cast far and hard one. This is for sea water fishing. where you sit on boat, let go your line. While some wont win any casting records, they will cast just fine for normal use. As suggested by max, fill up the spool with some mono and use the thinnest diameter line you can afford. There is a huge difference between casting 20lb and 50lb line diameter |
