Yea, we are a tech startup for sports fishing. We do not own the inventories and charters. The vendor manage their stuff i.e. tackle and boat

We enable everyone to list, plan,book, review and purchase anything everything about fishing. We served as a platform that play the governance role, i.e. For a fishing trip, you are paying deposit to boatman potentially a stranger, who may eventually does not turn up on the actual date, likewise, boatman may experience last minutes cancellation by customer and got to waste entire day without able to salvage.

Therefore, JomFishing will provide technology to help both parties, angler and boatman. If boatman never turn up, at least Jomfishing is holding the full payment- security, likewise, customer do not turn up, we have full payment to boatman or so. Certainly we would hope the fishing event is successful, our crew will constantly update both parties on the fishing date so that this will not slip off from your mind

We would appreciate if you can provide your regular boatman to us, so that we would be able to help to promote their services at the digital space.

Ultimately we would like to promote this oldest hobby to the community, and as we are fishermen too!

uncle used to own kelong but got shut down by sultan. so hope u all who's interested can help him out by chartering his boat and services. uncle is very cincai person. much respect to uncle lam .

just wish got sotong at our part here.. so far haven't heard anyone met the herd. prolly need to find special places just like uncle Lam eh

should have ler. full moon chinese calender 15th usually is sotong period especially end of the year.
anyway, u keep uncle lam as reference, just is case maybe ssay next time u strike super big toto jackpot and no need to work anymore and wanna fish sotong, at least got some reference.





anyway, uncle lam's card. chinese man, very nice and friendly, willing to assist. top notch person, very kind and gentle in real life, non violent, speaks diff dialects of chinese and some bahasa and some english. price wise, u call and ask. ranges from 400-1000+ depending on hours and stuff i suppose.
not fiber boat so it can get choppy. equipped with fish finder a nice toilet and small pantry. i think its a 50+ footer boat. enough for 6ppl definitely.

his son is located in pulau sibu area. has a boat as well. fiber, with 225hp engine. strictly for micro jigging and bottom. forgot to ask uncle lam for his son's contact but nvm la, can ask uncle himself.

cheap baitcaster can get from TCE tackle. very cheap, i think 1 set of rod and reel is under 100 bucks

Hello sifu2.

Real newbie here with completely zero fishing experience and very interested to do some fishing during free time.

I'm staying pretty near to Puchong D'Island and I know it's a famous fishing spot.

Any sifu can give advice where to get a fair price of fishing gear(fishing rod and necessary equipment) in Puchong and what are the bait to used at that pond.
Don't need any branded or superb rod. Just basic and good some decent sizes of fish will do.

I am no pro but i know one place at puchong. Digital tackle. Seem like the price quite reasonable

I m planing to go fishing next sundayast 16th , if you want you can tag along with me
i will prepare all the bait and gear , you dont have to buy anything yet

you may join with me for couple of times before decide what gear you wanna buy


digital tackle is not really a good place to start, because the owner and the shop keeper
themself dont fish. so they will just simply answer your question and dont expect them
to advise you.

if you just wanna survey then that a different story.
