Was thinking of checking out kolam pancing tasik idaman dengkil, the one with the restaurant beside it, supposedly 24hrs... rm10 for 3hours of fishing! Dunno the biterate and fishes in pond too. Haven't had time to go by, hoping to find a pacu pond with big flers! Sukida is a bit too far for a quick session! Anyone been by lately? can give update?

Hi All..Kolam S24..last week release 1 ton worth of fish..very quite nowadays since fasting month..at night also quite..have a go..i will start fishing after fasting month again..gatal already hand..PACCAAAKK...

i thought they released 1 tan last month also? Why night quiet?

Not as much as normal non fasting month i guess..KEdai Pancing stock up for RAYA fishing trip lor..

Yup, they added another ton of fishes to the kolam..Patin from 9kg to 13kg..but dont aspect the fish to terus makan la..at least 2 weeks then they will start bitting again..

S24 damn a lot of fish..just must get the right bait...

the best still is the pellet supply by the kolam operators..i usually add pandan kelapa flavouring...my fav..tried diff combo flavours but never as much strike as this combo..also 6363 with pandan kelapa..i dont use bread just pellet..

so u hook the pellets and then wrap over ? or u hook the pellets and use spring ?

When u buy the pelet from kolam, its only used to kepal right? Because in my own experience it will only be soft after soaking it and wrapping the pellets with newspaper overnight.
I totally fail in making dedak.

yup. all the way until end of the month. RM 100/4hrs

this was like me when i went out to sea bringing only 1 set of gear. that time i think my 2nd time going out open sea and then strikeeeee and then putus.

tomoro still ok. many still working tomoro. they added another few species of fish for u to bring up.

so far i caught, red tail, amazon red tail, siamese carp, patin, sultan, rohu, tongsan, tilapia, gar. until today still no luck on catching the monster mekong for jackpot. if i kena that 65kg - 75kg monster mekong, i gerenti u , i will play jackpot. so many session until now, still no mekong in sight. not even 1 yet i see with my own eyes. only from the indon worker handfon pics, i saw 50kg++ mekong.

OPEN YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH U DAMN MEKONG!

i tried several baits to lure the mekong. ranging from dedak 929 to dedak 6363. flavoring from strawberi to pandan to yam to banana. still no mekong in sight. all types of bread used, from gardenia to mighty white. also still nothing.


best location according to indon worker is near the big da sui kei behind there. i lepak around that area so many times, hopefully 1 fine day i will up the monster mekong and then i will claim jackpot prize of RM 1500 bucks,

Been using my friend's, very smooth and nice. No tangle etc. So want get one like this.

soron is good stuff. i think among soron range is shimano stradic. u can ask around in kepong tackle. i remember they carry soron and stradic.

i didnt go stradic cause i went atc valiant and still working good. i feel valiant is good bang for buck. if i not mistaken no more valiant now is go valour or something like that.

max drag is important to me. so i went with atc got higher max drag and yet still smoothness without the $$$$$ coming out of poket.

wahahaha...

i also never kena the mekong at the mouth before... everytime it's the freaking dorsal... so darn heavy!!!! using light setup somemore... 30 min fight everytime. after kena once, no energy to fish adi....

any particular model of stradic? i try to find and see.
i am in ipoh too bad. cant find the soron in ipoh.
