Liverpool should not have lost.
We were too wasteful in front of goal.
And we got robbed by the linesman.

Johnson, Sakho, Cissokho were terrible for me. It's a miracle we only got 2. Why oh why Agger stayed on the bench. Is it because of Sakho's price tag? Coutinho lived up to his reputation as a half-time man. 2nd half self-destruct. Gave away many balls at dangerous positions. I pity Sterling the most. Terrible decision by ref. He do need to polish up his finishing though.
YNWA. We'll bounce back harder.

Sakho did terrible tonight, but his performance was impressive so far, apart from this match.

Not our day. A horrible call by the linesman denying us a goal. A bad mistake by Mignolet which should have saved the shot easily. Wasteful with the ample chances we had. City's quick attacking (and counter-attacking) got the best of us. Sloppy passes. Marred an otherwise decent performance away from home at the home of quite possibly the best attacking side in the premier league. After frustration sunk in, it was easy for MC. Suarez going back to his diving ways was sad. We were desperate but nevertheless, never go back there.

Lows: Johnson - please just bench him. Useless, sloppy, wasteful.
Highs: Sterling.

On to the Bridge. #YNWA

Semantics. He didnt try to win the ball. He looked for a foul.

I don't like players who go for a foul without even trying a little bit to win the ball.

He didnt dive but he did make the most of it though. I saw the replay and Kompany did pull his shirt. But it was not enough to make a tumble like he did.

Well, he did his best to show the ref there was obstruction but he will never get it. Or else, Skrtel would have cost us 3 penalties at least.

Well to be fair, we've only seen him play against smaller teams. Could be the nerve but he needs to step up his game against bigger teams.

Unfair judgement on Sakho. I thought the lad did alright and save us in many situations. Only that few moment of error, otherwise a strong performance and has been the start of many movements we did from the back. Be fair to him

No one blame Mignolet? Both goals should have been kept out!

Felt like a European night to be honest. Stadia was buzzing and we gave City run for their money. Everyone is afraid of City and they gave majority of the clubs a real beating at home yet City decided to close shop with 30 minutes to go. Such was the respect given by City and the boys should be proud of that despite the result.

I think we were good offensively. Some missed chances but the football was so fluid and delicious that i never even thought we had it in us.

Our defense was really awkward, sometimes we looked alarming leaky and other times surprisingly solid. I think Johnson was the weakest link yet again. He is starting to look like Downing - skillful but spineless. Needs to seriously improve his game or feck right off. His casual demeanor is really upsetting me lol.

Anyways, bring on Chelsea.

Is there a thing call worst victory?

Worst is based on comparison with the rest. Based on City's home form this season? That 2-0 win was the smallest in winning margin before our 2-1 defeat.

I did.

Blamed him for the second goal.

The first one was Skrtel's fault.

But the second one should have been a routine save.

sakho was not that terrible defending. he has been immense defending. its having the ball at his feet that scares me. reminds me of a certain djimi traore. BR likes to play from the back. everyone knows that. from the first time i see sakho on the ball, its obvious hes not very good technically.. i think BR and the scouts has got it wrong in terms of signings this summer. kolo, moses, alberto, aspas, cissokho. none has been a success. missing out on the CL for the past few seasons has hurt us bad.

We are running thin I guess. Loanie like Cissokho shouldn't make the team. And Moses too.
Hopefully next game Flanagan will be back.

Off day for Jonhson. Sterling never had the best finishing tho.

Again, dont let the few errors cloud your judgement. I am not being positive crazy here.

Look at the whole game again. Sakho started many movements from the back successfully.

80:20 I would say. 20 was at the end when his sloppiness almost cost us. But judge him on the whole match. He's a rock.
