Aggger, Sakho/Toure for City game. The way Skrtel played yesterday, we are gonna concede a penalty every 5 minutes.

Johnson, Sakho, Cissokho were terrible for me. It's a miracle we only got 2. Why oh why Agger stayed on the bench. Is it because of Sakho's price tag? Coutinho lived up to his reputation as a half-time man. 2nd half self-destruct. Gave away many balls at dangerous positions. I pity Sterling the most. Terrible decision by ref. He do need to polish up his finishing though.

YNWA. We'll bounce back harder.

Sakho did terrible tonight, but his performance was impressive so far, apart from this match.

Well to be fair, we've only seen him play against smaller teams. Could be the nerve but he needs to step up his game against bigger teams.

Buy a CAM and a ST come January and loan a fullback. Johnson is not reliable anymore and Kelly is injury prone.

do u still rate kelly?
that guy almost hit 24 at this season end but still nowhere to play

He's like Aurelio. Reliable when fit but made of glass. He's fully fit right now but BR won't play him at all. Unless BR is thinking of converting Ilori into a fullback, he needs to go shopping.

whenever i see him play, this guy just look struggle to run.. not sure he's not fit or he actually like that.. you shuld look at his running.. it's weird.. more weird than sakho leg

He's considered big for a fullback. 6'3" ma. Guy's built like a central defender. You try sprinting like him with that size. biggrin.gif

Rodgers really fked up with his formations and players. Seriously. Smith? What's Alberto and Aspas doing there? Johnson is really bench material at this point. Sloppy, wasteful and lazy.

I knew it when Rodgers decide to go with 3 CBs. Just play Cissokho or Kelly. They're called fullbacks for a reason.

Built too big of an ego already. He intends to bring everyone from the youth academy to play for the starting XI.

We have played all the top 4 teams as of right now on their home turf. We have lost 3 and drew 1. If that's not a statement to Rodgers, the team and FSG, I don't know what is...

FSG is expected to offer Rodgers an improved and extended contract soon and if this is so they will have to sign off on a hefty compensation package if they cut him loose at the end of the season. I don't see them doing this if we miss out on a top four finish but i think they expect a European spot at least.

Reinforcements expected to come this January but it's important to keep in mind that the transfer fee for a player is one thing but more importantly, we need to consider salary. FSG and Rodgers have improved the team despite having to trim the wage bill and it's inconceivable that they will offer a big package. They favoiur performance based contracts which means a said player will have to perform to earn himself an improved contract. Remains to be seen if players will favour this over mega starting packages. This is another deterrant when it comes to pitching for a coveted player with other clubs and is likely another reason we've not signed big stars.

Champions League football is crucial for us next season if we want to keep Suarez and keep attracting big name players. True we are short on the pounds but FSG MUST invest especially now with our thinning squad. We may not have CL football this season but we have players like Suarez who I believe will help us attract good players.

Didn't Suarez say part of the reason why he went with us was because he thought he was gonna partner Torres up front?
