Hi , wanna ask whether any of you guys have experienced stuck/dead pixels on screen? I am using rmbp 15".

Recently I have realized there is a cluster of stuck pixels (glowing with only red , green or blue) in the middle of screen, not noticeable on normal distance but can be seen if you really focus.

I still have the warranty.

Does apple authorised center see this as an acceptable reason to have screen replacement?

Depends. They have policy on this, IINM, called acceptable number of pixel anomalies.

So best is to take it back to where you purchased it since you're still under warranty and let them diagnose and evaluate the display.

chaps how much does it cost to replace one of the fan in my rmbp late 2012. Yesterday i was holding my macbook and happen to grad it at the fan area and i heard the fan stop spinning. Then i press it again. Then the fan spin like a lambo going from 0-100 in 2.9 seconds.

Do any of you knows people do service rbmp at reasonable price?

why never buy from me, me selling off my 13-inch rMBP which is still under warranty heh.

there's one shop at eCurve where i repaired my iphone before, maybe they service macbooks too.

So how does it feel to own a MBA after getting used to the rMBP? Does it bothers you since MBA screen is abit.. 'inferior' compared to rMBP?

don't ever put them side by side lol, the difference is stark.
ya rMBP's screen is so much better, but once you get away from it you'll get used to MBA.

I love MBA's weight, you might think the weight difference is minimal but I can really feel the difference when carrying around.

Guys, I am planning to get rMBP 15" somewhere in December. Would there be any sales going on during Christmas period (in store offer)?

Malaysia price is much cheaper. So, if I order from Malaysia online store, it can't deliver over to Singapore.
Since I am just living across the sea, I would just travel over to JB to get one.

Apple usually has a one-day sale in Asia early in the year, think in January, you should wait for that.

or alternatively buy a second-hand 13-inch from me
