My usage:

1) Facebook
2) Clash of Clan
3) Browsing using Opera
4) viewing instagram
5) pick up 3/4 call in office hour.

Unplugged at 6.30am. and drive to office for 20min. arrive at office, the battery still indicate 100%. after 1 hour just lost 1%.With my nexus4, after driving for 20min, i lost 2% of battery.

In lunch hour, with nexus4 i already lost 50%. Nexus is far more better, losing 20% of battery. Can see the significant different between nexus 5 and nexus 4.

at the of the day, my nexus 5 still indicate 50% of battery left. if nexus4, only 20% left. i'm using stock kernel for both nexus.

FB and 4Sq. are most higher wakelocks man...
deswaii i install instagram, twitter and Friendcaster for the phone...

That guys is lying because my nexus5 only last around 10hours! only facebook, calling and web browsing for awhile. The screen drained the most of my battery. (As claimed by the stock battery app).

Depend on what app u install in your phone. also monitor the network coverage in your area, the network also effect your battery life.
Nexus4 drain quiet fast dowh especially when browsing. Nexus4 easily can lost 2%-3% battery drop for 5minute browsing. It's different with Nexus5, just lost 1%. Forgot to mention, in office, my coverage is LTE. So u can see the battery performance of Nexus5 compare to Nexus4 just limit to 3G.

Its safe to use a higher amp on the nexus 5.. i dont want to cause an issues but i do miss how fast my S4 used to charge using its 2.0 amp adapter.

Ordered a Diztronic matte black case directly from their website. Anyone using one? It looked good on my friends N4. Hoping nexus 5 one is also similar. Hopefully it doesn't get lost in shipping.

output is only 1A if you're using a 2A adapter which is not included in the package so either you're using your own 2A adapter or if you are using nexus 4 adapter then you are just getting .5A output instead of 1A.

yes it will get hotter and i would suggest not to use more than 2A input or use more than what is stated on the wireless pad itself as it might melt then lol.

You are right about the low grade china chargers too (y) but I went for high grade one as I want to use it for a longer period of time and i want my charger to have a better built quality so that if it accidentally falls, it doesn't break apart easily. Also I have experienced low grade material breaking by itself with normal use lol. Also the magnet in the latest nexus wireless charger can be handy with future devices (y).

And yes i didn't want to disturb any other adapter in my house to it's good that the nexus wireless charger comes with its own adapter. No hassle of adapter/cable pulling and inserting. (y)

It's just a high quality tpu case. covers all corners and provides sufficient protection. Whether it survives a drop test is totally up to your luck. Mine hasn't been delivered yet. When it does, I'll post some photos here.
