Hi bros. the noisy sound cleared following the ways Kiefer bro teached. I got one very newbie question, is the predicted "km" shown at the screen there can be trusted?
mean if it is showing 109km left, but the indicator of the petrol is blinking already, is it still can drive around 109km?
n also i find that my FC quite low, only 9.5km /Litre only. bt tat is immediately pump petrol after blinking.(still showing 100km left".
Thanks for answering my question. highly appreciated.thanks. notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

Hi YongHong,

Great that you 'kautim' the sound.

On the FC, it should show L/100km not KM/litre. It actually calculate the average usage, for me it is somewhat accurate.. not perfect though i think but it is a guide for me.

When it shows 109km, (if hiway, it will show 125km or more). It give you a estimated range before ran out of fuel. If it is below 50km range, it will show '-------' I tried below that, but dont dare as i dont want to push my car or walking to the petrol station. hehehe

now my FC is about 8.9 - 9.1L/100km when in LDP during peak hours. But best to pump petrol soonest possible when you have the chance. For me, I will have at least 50km to go when start blinking especially in hiway next stop.

On your case, after pump petrol and still showing 100km... then you try off and on again as bro SingK mentioned.
If still show like that, i remember there is a way to reset the Range by holding it down for seconds. Try look at the owners manual.

If still same.. service center is the way to go.

when 1 bar start blinking and it indicate 109km.. yes, you still can drive until it shows 50km range, but with gentle ride. Get use to the car first as you still need time to know her more.

Also, dont blame me if your alza no fuel at 50km range. hehehe try at your own risk blink.gif

ya... depending on condition, the figures changes based on the FC. Can be more and can be less.

based on my experience.

1 bar represent approx 60km range.

full tank 8bar x 60km = 480km

how bout other alzarians?

that's how i estimate fuel range.

For me it's 45 to 55km per bar... If I'm lucky the top bar can reach 65... Usually refill when left 2 bars so it's around 340 to 400km... Anything above 400km is practically high percentage or long distance highway...

You can do a little calculation to it. We know the tank is 42 litter. Try to fill it up to max, ride the car until it start blinking again, refuel back to max get the litter figure and minus with 42. so you get how much litter you have when it start blinking. I never try it with alza, but for kelisa when the needle reach red i still have 10 litter to go. So depend on your condition of driving you can guest how much km more you can go. If on highway my alza can get about 13km per litter.

Coz my travel 95% smooth traffic not bumper to bumper jam. I was expecting 8L for 100km instead. Lol.... this weekend I travel to Kuantan let's see how the FC. Anyone tried BHP? Was it good compare with Shell?

After 3 rounds of bhp petrol, obviously I see better FC driving in KL, i.e. 8.3L vs. 8.8L per 100km.
The recent trip KL to Kuantan clock 6.4L/100km when I pump BHP petrol. Throughout the journey I'm driving 100 - 110km/h.

One more thing it bother me is when I start driving and hitting 20km/h, my rpm will shoot up to 2000 then back to 1000.....also rpm meter will suddenly shoot up to 3000 from 2000 then back to 2000 again when driving like 80km/h... Anyone facing this problem before and any solution to this?

Sounds like gear slipping when changing gears...?

While I would say it's a common problem on my Alza even before and after change of gearbox, you might wanna pay attention and report to SC if it persists...

Hi All,

I just got my Alza Advance Version yesterday. So far it has been good. Just want to ask about the upgrades mentioned on the 1st page. Does the warranty gets void if we fix the Front Strut Bar and Coil Spring Buffer?

As long as you're not breaking any original parts or cutting wires during the installation, I don't see any problem with it...
