Goin uphill still ok bro, but downhill with 7person?

I own Kenari, but recently went to SC and saw few Alza over and under.

I was intrigued by the intake hose, where it has a resonance chamber. Does all model have that? I would like that for my Kenari. Also, recently change my Kenari shocks mounting to Alza one, sweet.

yonghongMy Kenari auto, 88Nm/3500RPM torque is worst case 40kmh at 3000RPM with 2~3 person. I'm guessing yours would do that too.
Spring don't affect bumpy, other things does, like absorbers, coil aids, spring isolators, bushing and mountings.
Spring affects ride height and max load.
You can also opt for progressive springs, with multple coil rates - harder under high load and softer under low load.

Yes. it can.  I drove few rounds to Genting with 3 to 5 ppl before with luggages.  It is fine. Down hill also no problem.

Get familiar with your alza and of course the road condition before going up genting.

BTW, I have changed the extractor to hotbits. which is better response.

rest the car when you up to the top. Keep engine running idling for at least 1 minute before shutting down.  Let it cool down.

When down hill, please dont follow too near to the car in front. Also, break-in brake pads is needed (no recommend to go up genting on 1st day of new car).

New pads sometimes need to break in first.  Meaning after some 50-100km (example), the pads are 'grinded' and ready to work.  Layman terms.

It will get better grip in braking after some mileage.

Ah, I think you guys got me wrong here.  I did not mean the braking distance to get the car to a halt.  But the travel distance of the brake paddle, that I have to depress so much and use quite some strength to depress the brake.

A good SA is very important, if you all want i can intro you mine, within 2 weeks done from loan to delivery. PBB 2.93%.

To own a MPV with 60k , except alza dont have any other choice. My supports on alza are below:
1) Cheap and big space
2) Cant found any new mpv in this price
3) 3yrs free engine oil and labour charge
4) 5 yrs dabao still got buyers, not a cold market car
5) Service fee cheap
6) Minor issue every car sure got even a Alphard - rattiling sound same sure got for mpv.
7) FC is more than myvi just abit more not significant like Forte or RIO.
8) Tall and very good visibility. Not like Forte and Rio, i'm sinking inside when drive poor visiblity and many blind spot.

My Cons on Alza:
1) Rattling sound from behind, need time find out but i'm lazy so i can tahan, still new not prominent the sound.
2) Brake pad is poor, brake press height level can be adjusted.
3) Bumpy absorber - change better absorber when is kong
4) Stock tyre less grip and noisy
5) Alternator kick in too frequent, light dim when it kick in.
5) Still finding.......

Engine performance:
0-5000km -  Lack of power can be felt. After 2nd oil change, smooth and responsive.

NVH:
Better than previous gen alza due to added sound insulator for this new facelift alza. Engine sound 3K above sound only start noticeable.

Conclusion: Still the same, i buy this car is because of price and worthiness. Alza SE Ivory White owner 3 months here is recommended for a buy. Previous car: 1st Myvi, 2nd Forte, current Alza. Hope my review can help you all.

Try re-adjust by moving the chair to the front and back.. then lock it in place.  I suspect it is not properly locked at position.

You sure it's a noisy nut and not your B-pillar rattling...?

when 1 bar start blinking and it indicate 109km.. yes, you still can drive until it shows 50km range, but with gentle ride.  Get use to the car first as you still need time to know her more.

Also, dont blame me if your alza no fuel at 50km range.  hehehe try at your own risk

What do you want to improve..

1. Brake pedal feel.....change brake hose to steel braided hose
2. More bite...change to better brake pad but normally harder material and will makan disc
3. Tyre...change to better tyre to eliminate tyre skid

First thing to do....bleed your brake and use dot4 brake fluid
