Hello guys. Just want to ask about the multimedia system of the advance alza. For video playback, does it only allowed to play dvd only? No other mean to play using usb video?

Yes you can play video files saved in your USB flash drive with following conditions:
1) max resolution supported 720x480
2) The video format has to be AVI or MPEG
3) Video codec has to be MPEG4 or XVID

Thanks for the reply. Just to be sure this is the standard multimedia player come with the new alza, right?

Hi guys. Last Tuesday drove the car from klia to perlis. Manual calculation Fuel consumption 7.2liter/100km. Highway road all the way except few 40km before entering toll. Drove about 100 to 120kph. But I also try for top speed. Only reach 155kph as per gps speed. But my speedometer seem out abit, it shows 160kph. Nothing much to complain about the car. Seem fine to me. Noise level ok, handling ok, if you drive 120kph the body seem to be stable. If going faster feel abit rocky. Responsive enough to overtake.

Problem wise, my interior light not switching off when door close. The front door side panel seem to be bouncing out when closing windows. Bluetooth can't be detect at all. Try with several phone, none detect the bluetooth of radio. And the front skirting is low for me. Already scratch it during parking. Hehehe.

You can do a little calculation to it. We know the tank is 42 litter. Try to fill it up to max, ride the car until it start blinking again, refuel back to max get the litter figure and minus with 42. so you get how much litter you have when it start blinking. I never try it with alza, but for kelisa when the needle reach red i still have 10 litter to go. So depend on your condition of driving you can guest how much km more you can go. If on highway my alza can get about 13km per litter.

hey guys, i am planning to get SE version. Is it much difference between SE and Advanced Version? I am located at Sandakan, Sabah actually so the price will be more expensive if compare to peninsular malaysia.

As this is my first time to buy car, anything i have to aware of and what is the procedures? Hope my question wont bring any trouble to you guys.

I'm driving the se version. The advanced version have the entertainment multimedia with gps and parking camera, leather seat and electronic retractable side mirror. Other than that all are the same with se version.

I had my car about 3 weeks plus after bank approved. For me fc is good. Manual count 7.2 liter/100 km on highway road while my old kelisa 6.6 liter/100 km.

Hi Guys,

When you guys park your Alza and get down, do you hear some dripping noise? Sound like water drip on some thin metal? maybe exhaust pipe? It stop after a while, so i would think is the air cond water?

Any idea guys?

thanks.

I do heard the same noise, but I also don't know exactly the cause of it. I already extended the aircond water hose at engine bay but the noise is still there.

I'm fine with my alza just the way it is. Using Alza SE 2014, been using it to drive long distance to perlis all this while. Nothing to complain about it. The speed, comfort, sound proff and handling. For me the engine just good enough for me as I'm not that heavy footer.

I notice Alza speedometer is faster (about 10 km/h) than what my GPS indicate and actual distance covered is less by 100m per every km since day 1 getting the car. The distance covered is verified by the milestones indicators on the road. Any advice?

My car speedometer is the same as yours. The speed is slightly higher than actual speed. I test it with gps and other car as guide. When accelarate the difference about 10km and at idle speed about 8km diff. But I'm ok with it.

Not sure if this is caused by your bigger donuts at 195, if you guys changed any...

My car is standard from perodua. Haven't change anything at all. But I don't care much about the speedometer as long as I know what speed I'm actually driving at that time. Just to avoid any speed trap.
