do you guys think this is worth it as many here complain about rattle, creaks or noise?

I've been in an Alza and Myvi SE before, NVH is much better than Kancil or Kenari, and worthy of praise.

hi bro.ty for ur reply. can u explain more on 'break in brake pads'?? newbie here.thanks.

Don't go with a brand new car with brand new brake pads.
Run-in the car for at least 1000km, for the brake pads to work well with brake discs.

EithaniusDid you do firewall soundproof? That's the most important one, IMO, for engine noise reduction.

singkNice. Though I beg to differ with the acceleration between 3-4k.
At that region, torque is flat, so acceleration is linear, check the HP curve.
As the RPM encroach over 4k RPM, the torque peaks, and the acceleration increases... butt dyno feels a sudden kick... and then it lags again at RPM >4.5k.

TerryFa'iz Golden member in LYN, summore just join this month. welcome indeed.

darkdevilrey For ICE, need to have good skilled audio specialist. I've seen one recently that have a whole bunch of training certificate including by Rockford Fosgate in the 80's to 90's. He's also skilled in fabrication, so he custom made pillar speaker housing. He showed me his Waja, damn poison. Sounds don't feel like coming from speakers, but a sound stage in front of me. Soft volume, played on old Clarion head unit. RM8k is starting budget, he said.

i don't recall perodua cars are readable by market OBD2 readers (probably their OBD protocol wasn't pure OBD2 at all), not sure on this FL alza, i'll be glad if it's market OBD2 is usable on Alza FL.
*
I see, just checked, seems Alza not compatible.

Some Chinese dude ina White Suzuki Switf just parked outside my house then say he want to introduce me to install New Alarm system for my Alza Advance as the Alza Advance very easy to be steal. I rejected him.

The problem is I can't read where this nut head driver from Penang (no offence penang brothers / sisters) wants to go, a minute they are 30% on left lane 70% on right lane, the next minute they sped off to the right lane then made a sharp left turn.
*
That nuthead driver is possibly another tourist, rented a car...

QUOTE(stelamezie @ Jun 28 2014, 09:04 PM)
Agree, I drove estima to Penang once and Johor once. Then Triton around KL area few times. Both also not my car, and it's old so I don't feel that stressful to be honest LOL.

Alza much more stressful is cause of my hard earn money XD

By the way, I know this is out of topic. But I believe Alza club member should see this, as I drove in Ipoh near by "Lou Wong Chicken Rice" restaurant area. There is a lot of so call "Parking Assistant Person" around that area giving you "assist" in your parking then they ask for RM5 - RM10 or more.

See below photo, there's a guy standing on the left of my car front wind screen? I was actually parked there then he walked to me and ask for money, of cause I refuse. He threaten to scratch my car if I do not pay up, so fine I reverse out and drove away, he actually pointed international finger at me, though my cheap car cam can't capture it clear enough.
*
Parking assistant, can cause accidents one... I have seen one time, they helped a car reverse into an oncoming truck, and ran off...
