Got my car tinted from Totalgard

Type : Infusion Pro
Price : 799
Car type : B segment SUV
warranty : 8 years

so far the quality not too bad , works like how it should be
The workmanship could be improved but so far not much to complain as there is no dusted dent or whatever from the tinted screen
RFID and condo access card not working behind the tinted screen

Sifus, i humbly request a recommendation for best bang for buck tint

budget: rm600 max for all sides (me broke :[ )
tint: cool, privacy brows.gif brows.gif
car: myvi 2005 (King obs)
brand: any
location: preferably wangsa maju / klang lama. but if damn cheap, i wont say no to an adventure (KL/SEL only pls)
RFID/NFC: not really using RFID/NFC but if got, nice thumbsup.gif
warranty: not expecting longer than 5 yrs but the longer, the better (title of my s3x tape)

ive got a recommendation from a friend previously for Vought in Sri Rampai for RM400++ but im curious for a second opinion.

Thank you in advance

Anyone installed Mpro car tint? Wanna check on the warranty

According to the shop, the 5 year warranty is only allowed to claim one time for each panel during the 5 years period.

I am not sure is this common to other tint brands as well?

paid about RM2k for sedan car...durign the recent promo...not sure how many % off but around RM2k i paid for sedan car...

Visited a place today that does irispro and got a quotation from them. They first sat me down and brought out a meter that checks the tint for uv, heat and light.

Took out 3M crystalline vs irispro and the uv rejection on iris is much higher than crystalline.

3M was 3.6k and iris pro same level is 2.4k.

Am I being scammed?

your feedback for Iris Pro? good as spec or on actual usage. Last time almost take this brand but after getting their price quotation for their full spec, I kinda better take other reputable brands. In the end gamble with local brand at less than rm1k, the balance of it use for PPF & Coating dry.gif

To be frankly speaking, no matters what tinted we use following the jpj rules, we already way pass it if take in the glass itself already have some degree of tinted. If add in the front 50% and side 70%, surely it over the JPJ requirement. That why those tinted stop will never give any money back guarantee will pass JPJ requirement.

nope it doesnt affect waze / gps for both my andriod or Iphone , however it does affect my condo access card and RFID which kinda suck
I would rate their skill so so , well they workmanship is not marvelous ,
but at least they get the job done for my car as there is no dust bubble or whatsoever

Your RFiD stick inside windscreen? If yes sure affected since the tint rejected most Infrared percentage. That include your condo card

yeap thinking of change the RFID to right mirror but not too sure if TNG RFID is sensitive enough for that
meanwhile for condo card I gonna suck it up ... since my condo sensor is on the left rather than driver side
