QUOTE(suntzulee @ Oct 3 2014, 08:15 AM) 70% heat reject with Rm188 is too good to be true which we can say. If you just want cheap security film and treat the heat reject as bonus if have and lasting then maybe you can consider it. Further more, you should look at the TSER reading instead of Infared reading to measure the real heat reject value. |

QUOTE(alwinnng @ Oct 4 2014, 03:20 AM) wahhh how much u paid and for what car?? it was a LLumar diamond 6. it's 63% VLT if based on spec. but seriously it's still to bright for me. Heat rejection is good though. now thinking to darken it a lil bit more probably 40% - 50% for all except front windshield id like a 70% vlt tint but so far...its kinda rare... **dun wan too mahal ones dont know which tint to choose for |

Is there a decent brand of tinting film sold in Malaysia as precut kits for customer DIY? Or even sold by the meter?

Hi Pain4UrsinZ, yes it is possible to mix and match, but kindly be reminded that safety films are supposed to be installed on side windows only. You cannot install it on the front windscreen bro.i only need Solar+security for front windscreen and windows, rear windscreen and windows only solar. Hi bro, the windscreen glass itself is originally thicker than the side windows. They are made of different materials. Adding on safety films on the windscreens csn disturb your driving visual. That's why you do not need safety films for the windscreen, jpj doesn't allow that and we do not recommend it as well |
