Hi Sifus, I would be getting a Mazda soon and apparently it comes with Skytint or something that Mazda puts by default, like it or not.

I haven't heard very good things about the tint however, its still very hot despite there being a tint.

But is there any Mazda users here that could advise on this please? If i should change to a better tint, which should I go for please, any specific brand and range? Also, would it be advisable to double tint or remove the existing tint entirely?

I change windscreen for my Renault fluency, which has Horus x70 installed. now no windscreen and fee very hot.

as the car is parked outside, what is the recommended tint? only for windscreen

Your whole car previously installed Horus tint? How was the tint performance? Tint back ur front windscreen with Horus tint?

Got my new Myvi 2022 tinted using Alva DY series that is from the US and using nano ceramic film with lifetime warranty at ~RM1.8k (normal price is 3.6k), IRR 98%, UVR 99.9%, UV block 400nm, 4mil security film (this is their highest spec tint).
Verified the specs using the infrared scanner machine post-tinting and turns out to be true.
Also GPS and SmartTag-friendly (verified on NS Highway).

Whole car with horus x70 for windscreen and x50 the rest. Come free with car. Performance wise for me is excellent and after 4yrs ++ car still cool.and no bubbling or blurring.

Im with Infusion Pro series n3 at rear windows and sunroof while front windscreen and window with ip n6. Both IRR 100% only differ on VLT.

Performance wise i say good, work as my other car with Wingard Royale which I paid rm2k plus in 2015. Not sure installation wise issue as I get good installer when I installed there. Price factor is the reason i choose this as I only spend rm899 for their top spec tint. Installed it September 2020 and it still work as day 1.

The clarity is good, look very clear from inside for my rear window eventhough it petty dark from outside.

Cons, smart tag not gonna work doesn't matter slow speed. But we will throw away the smart tag by next month

Anyone use Magnus pro window film before? Is it good?

Ceramic Pro give it for free for the most expensive package so i afraid it might be some sub-par tint.
