Do you guys add the top layer for the front windscreen? My concern is on the overall look for a silver car and whether it will affect the sensitivity of rain sensors

Hi bro, for your info, Raytech brand is founded from Malaysia so you can seen most videos from Malaysia. Raytech window films are exclusively manufactured in the United States at our world-class facility film manufacturer, Commonwealth Laminating and Coating Inc, in Martinsville, Virginia. So you can ensure the product quality. You can find our company details on our USA manufacturer's website too smile.gif

When google for info, you can find a video which is comparison of heat rejection between few Genuine USA brand top range products :

OK understood now. Raytech is malaysia brand but made in USA.

BTU test is 1 thing, the video tested 3M Vs Huper Optic is also important to show the quality of the tint. From the video, i would think 3M tint could fade over time but Huper can last longer.

If there are little bubbles after tint is applied, do we have to wait for some time for it to settled down? Was told it will go away within a week but I'm just wondering how is the air going to escape? Any comments from the sifus?

For some brands, I have observed small bubbles upon application, but after a week or so, it goes away due to hot and cold compression. Wait for a week, and if still exist, then do go back

Hi bro, there are 2 types of bubbles on the window film.

a) Dirt Bubbles - Normally will not disappear, can claim workmanship warranty and need retint.

b) Air Bubbles - Normally will disappear within 3-4 days for SOLAR film.
- Normally will disappear for SAFETY film after few months.

Last advice, if you not sure what kind of bubble is it, and the bubble still there after 1 week, it is advice to drive back the car to the tinting shop and ask for warranty claim. Normally, they will fix back for you smile.gif

Hi guys, I plan to change the window tint on my 2010 Myvi because it gets really hot in the afternoon. The previous tint was installed by my car dealer in 2010 and I don't know what brand it is.

May I know how much is the price for installing Raytech Ultra70, V-Kool Elite or 3M Crystaline 70 for my car?

Any recommendation for good tinting brand? Hopefully the colour is as least dark as possible with most protection. Budget around 2k. Thank you.

hi, tinting car will not get warranty void.

At least you send back service maintenance & repair at Authorized workshop, warranty still valid.

like car tyre, you can change tyre at any where, it does not related to car warranty.

you also can refer to :

Did 3M Crystalline tinting at Starblaze 3M Autofilm Kota Damansara. 2200 for cr70, cr50 sides and cr40 rear for a Jazz 2017. Good workmanship n the people knows how to chase for your business instead of waiting for you to chase them.

Anyone heard about Autogarde? It claims to be Honda tint panel in one PJ branch. RM1200 (after discount RM500) for SUV, 7 years warranty. It also sell 3M film, RM1820 (after 30% discount) but only 5 years warranty. Which one I should choose?
