Hello, i'm a college student in Graphic Engineering and Database Research for Multimedia. I already have i3 2330 Nvidia GT520M for my project, but couldn't run smoothly when it required a large amount of memory. So i had to resell the laptop to bought a new laptop. I got recommended for GPU Nvidia GT720M for my stuff. Please help me out.

with that budget, totally cant get a laptop that can runs your graphics engineering software smoothly.
i'd say you will need a quad core laptop with a decent graphics.

Thanks for replying. For now, i'd love to bought that kinda rig, but i could only support for RM1.5++k, since student life is pretty demanding. For now, ill try to search cheaper i5 with Nvidia GT650M ~ 720M series or above for my work.
