1. Preferred Brand :
MSI. Any other brand's that give a stylish outlook will be considered as well.

2. Budget :
less than 4k. Slightly over a bit still acceptable.

3. Usage :
Gaming. I play a lot of online game.

4. Preferred laptop/screen size :
Preferred to have backlit keyboard. If possible, light-weighted. 14" to 16" (less than 17").

Nah she won't go anything less than 500gb since she needs storage more than speed. After reading reviews, will probably go for U430T since its a more better choice. Thanks anyways

Screen - can you go out and look at it yourself to decide?
Gaming performance - answer so many time already. For games that support SLI, GT750M SLI is better than GTX765M.
Thermal profile - both suck, but Y510P is slightly better.
Micro stuttering - can you go out and look at it yourself to decide?
SSD - yes.

Any laptops out there supports 5GHz WiFi apart from Macs?

what is "normal usage", "general computing"? Is it so difficult to give some example?
Anyway, if it's for web surfing, watching movie, e-mail, MS Office, Intel Celeron / Pentium is sufficient.
