QUOTE(Arthurwirawan @ Feb 27 2014, 05:13 PM) Tyres Mich PS3 RM615.00 each, brake pads I changed outside much cheaper, parts + labour RM360.00, original pads was quoted RM650.00, too expensive. Just got to know, it's normal practice to change brake pads and disc together, as the pads actually wear off the disc brakes, fortunately mine still ok, so still using, mileage 36k How do we know if the brake pad or disc needs changing, is there any symptom ka?

If there are circular scratches on the surface, see the workshop. Brake pads are mounted on it's shoe by metal studs. As the pads wear off the studs start perturbing. If left too long the metal studs tend to scratch deep circular groves on the disc. The workshop can tell you if the disc can be shimmed(surface polish) or need replacement. Hey guys, I'm about to have my 408T delivered in a bit. However, I'm not really fond of the body kit that they provide with the new models. I know it's not a big deal, but it does bother me from an aesthetic point of view. I'm wondering if anyone has removed it, or managed to get it removed by the dealer? For reference, I'm talking about the black coloured rubbery kit as pictured below:

QUOTE(x800 @ Feb 27 2014, 09:33 PM) Did you change to the same size tyres? The 408t's 225/45 is not really a common size for a 17". So it should be a bit expensive than the more common sizes taking into account same brand n model Yup I changed to same tyre size.
