Want to see the final result. I think her lips need to be retouched too and there is a bit of shadows under her lips.

I'm surprise how much can edit with Raw File just by playing with the colour and exposure..
End result didn't differ much from the one I post, just fix some shadow below the lips as you mentioned.

I realised that too, but edi try my best to bring back the details.. so meh~

that's the first thing i noticed too in the "after" pic

i have to sat before is better than after

many people try to edit like bright subject and dark background, if you go overboard it will become too obvious and kill the pictures

Nice, I didn't focus on the white dress until others mentioned about it tho. My eyes went straight to her face
Can use brush tool man. Carefully painting the white areas of the dress and while still in brush tool, lower down highlight, or lowering a bit of exposure, add some contrast I think. Still can be recovered.

Great work, man I don't even have a zoom lens for this. I like the moth's wings, if only can see the pattern clearer.

any outing for the LYN Nikon kakis lately?

looks fake to me after the editing. and you can simply use the adjustment brush to recover the details on the skirt by brushing on it and decrease the exposure by around half stop.

haha thanks, what I love about that lens is I have a nice working distance (about 1 meter) from any bugs and 200mm can really blows everything in the bg into one color patch just wished that it has a better magnification (heard that slapping extension tubes only increase the magnification modestly but decrease the working distance a lot )
