#1 should be a Phintella versicolor ♂, don't think its a baby haha
#2 is a juvenile Cosmophasis thalassina. They love to point their abdomens upwards while moving~ And they become very beautiful when grown up:



#2 is not an easy shot since this particular species is always on the go lol, great one!

#1 is an orange-banded hornet, not to be trifled with Its not venomous la, but the sting will be very painful, and it has unlimited "ammo", unlike bees
#2 is a young housefly I think, whereas #3 is a signal fly (nice find!)
But what amazed me most is #4 haha, don't even know what it is!

ohhh ok, thanks for the info. always so takut when bump into them since they are so large and the sound they made while flying is really loud too. yeah #3 is quite rare i think, very tiny in size and always hide in the darker area. #4 is really weird bug, they are everywhere around Kari leaves, but never move away, just stay there. haha no tripod and no stacking, all shot with Tamron 70-200 f2.8 with some cropping. that lens will be damn perfect for macro if it has a little better magnification since I can shoot faraway with it.

EDIT: Okay, myth solved.

It's the larva of a species of Tortoise Bettle called Silana farinosa.

It looks really damn different compared to the bug itself, no wonder I spot those white guys around them.

All the CF pics... I missed this event this year >_< Sunday initially wanted to go but ended up going Seremban with family to survey for renting a home for my brother whose doing housemanship at the hospital.
