another addition for what has everyone stated: LR is such a memory hog software compared to PS.

LR only hog RAM, wait until you save your files as PSD in PS that things kills HDD.

Kill HDD never mind, my laptop has an mSATA and another HDD
LR and PS if same type of processing they can do, why adobe like to release so many subsets of the same thing

Yes, that answers your question. LR is a very simple program with a lot more limitations compared to PS, yet a lot more simple and easy to use. One thing I like about LR is the menu layout and also the ability to do non-destructive editing by letting you to undo your editings anytime. While in PS the only think you can do is save in PSD if you want to revert your settings one day, not to mention a lot more complicated editings compared to LR.

I saw a lot of RAW users using LR, which is why I asked this question
I've been using PS for years, so I found out nothing is wrong with PS for RAW

Photoshop's ACR does the same thing as LR... actually the LR engine is based off the ACR. Whatever you get in LR, you will get in ACR too.

But I think the brushing on this photo is not very well done, can see the "outlines" clearly

Well-composed man. Cute spiders too.
I like the last one. Eerie and yuck! But it's unique otherwise. haha! The first one is quite common at my place. Got stung from it too. The venom only last for 3 minutes then you'll be okay... unless you got stung by the horde that would be another case. haha!
