Hi bros, just got my Nikon D7000 and a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 lens not long ago.
Loving it so far, has a lot more options and much to learn compared to any DSLRs I used previously thumbup.gif
Here are some quick shots laugh.gif

I got one question though - what lighting do you use for product photoshoot? White table lamp with diffuser or just a piece of paper?

Wow thanks for the feedback guys thumbup.gif
I thought using a table lamp with some diffuser light might work, but my IKEA table lamp emits yellow light sweat.gif

@Calvin Seak I did watch that video before XD Hilarious, but great pics nonetheless

Here are some random shots for the my upcoming review blush.gif
After so many shots though, I can't seem to get the "just right" clarity in the photo.
Already tried to decrease aperture and ISO while using a tripod to get clarity, but somewhat still doesn't hit the spot... sad.gif

Clarity as in most of the mobile in focus?

If you're on tripod, then no need to adjust the ISO, just set it to the lowest possible. Be in Aperture Priority, and choose high value aperture (narrow) like f/16. Make the shutter in timer mode, focus then click the shutter away. Wait till the image perfectly processed before you touch your camera to prevent any camera shake which will result in image blur.

Seems like my aperture isn't low enough then. Thanks for the tip!
Also dear copperwire93, nice shots!

EDIT: Btw, do you all use Photoshop's lens correct profiles that are built into it? Because the Tamron 17-50mm lens caused a lot of vignetting and curving on pictures like the product's box and my table, so I just used that lens correction to fix it.

Eh I'd like to ask if there's any majorly significant difference if I use Photoshop or Lightroom to process the RAW format photos?

LR only hog RAM, wait until you save your files as PSD in PS tongue.gif that things kills HDD.

Kill HDD never mind, my laptop has an mSATA and another HDD brows.gif
LR and PS if same type of processing they can do, why adobe like to release so many subsets of the same thing shakehead.gif
cheaper price for software specifically for photography processing?

Yes, that answers your question. LR is a very simple program with a lot more limitations compared to PS, yet a lot more simple and easy to use. One thing I like about LR is the menu layout and also the ability to do non-destructive editing by letting you to undo your editings anytime. While in PS the only think you can do is save in PSD if you want to revert your settings one day, not to mention a lot more complicated editings compared to LR.

No wonder la... hmm.gif
I saw a lot of RAW users using LR, which is why I asked this question
I've been using PS for years, so I found out nothing is wrong with PS for RAW ohmy.gif

Anyway, who went to CF today? laugh.gif
