Yeah whenever I try and sell something here, I always get a couple who don't read the post at all and proceed to ask me questions that have already been answered in the post heh.

I would recommend this one :

HFTD Deluxe Battle Blade Bumblebee

Alternately if you prefer a sportier car mode you can consider DOTM Deluxe Bumblebee nod.gif.

QUOTE(tanleeseng @ Jan 20 2014, 02:48 PM)
Complexity has it's pros and cons. Since Hasbro (unlike TakaraTomy) is aiming the Transformers franchise towards kids they have find ways to simplify the transformation process as to make them kid friendly. For example they made a lot of the movie toys transformation so complex that even parents are having a hard time transforming it. Another reason for them to try and simplify the transformation process may also be due to cost cutting measures as complexity in production come at a cost. They will save cost by combining the more simplify kids line of toys with the regular release of TFs. Hasbro may have made the decision based the poor sales of the recent TF toy line.

On the other hand this may result in the dwindling interest in the number of veteran collectors who appreciate more intricate designs and complex transformation as most of them will probably be turning towards 3rd party company since their products are catering more towards adult collectors.

To simply put it it's a double edge sword situation... make them too complex the parents will turn away... make it too simple the collectors turn away.

At the moment I have to say the CHUG series is currently one of best line of TF they have given us with not-so-overly-complex but still intuitive transformation design at very affordable price (Not to mention a lot of G1 character reference which I really appreciate smile.gif ). Why can't Habro make the other line ups with the same caliber as is beyond me rolleyes.gif . Just my 2 cents... nod.gif

I wonder what's the ratio of children to adult collectors. If it's something like 80/20, then from a business perspective, Hasbro would be happy to sacrifice the adults.

alah... on the simpler robot thing... i dont mind that as long as Hasbro does it to the movie line to attract the kids. leave Generations and MP alone.

anyone had collection of transformer headmasters purchased during 80's. I seen hardly anyone discuss about them. these are retro toys brought during 1987. they cost average about rm80 that time?

I m still keeping these below.

you bought the taktom version? just saw hasbro sandstorm at 90 retail. 150 for taktom blitzwing. so if i managed to average out at about 90 each, that wouldn't be too much of a hit. sweat.gif

that 79.9 was just a guess. haven't been scouting in a while. blush.gif

the thing with G1 is, as cool as it were/are, it's just bricks. i sold off my headmaster highbrow, powermaster OP & darkwing and sixshot to make room for their newer G1 oriented reiterations.
