I would like to ask for the position of non executive - experience hire, how long is the hiring process after we have completed the CBI interview ?

Cannot work from same org structure. If 2 person in same company, one will have to move to another petronas company.
2 working in petronas gas, one will have to move out to gentari or some other company

mana ada...saw many husband and wife working under the same subsidiary. Some even in same department lagi.

Mine kahwin straight have to change sub, each sub hr have their own risk assessment kot.

Can i know your interview panel is HR or the hiring manager themselves?

Passed all my interviewing process, got OL ady, done my medical report, talked with the HR few times, resign my curent job then suddenly two days before reporting for duty, HR called my OL lapsed due to my medical report. AME state that i am unfit for hybrid work

Are you join as contract or full time with Petronas?

Permanent and full time. Got the exec role and HR just lapsed my OL without further discussions

Wow then do you need to reprt to tribunal on this?

wanted to but no energy to do. besides they got mention dont resign first on their OL but ofcourse i had to since my notice is 1 week and there were no news from petronas. really tot that i was in.

So when you got the OL last time, did you sign it and gave to the Petronas HRs before tender your resignation with your previous company?

Yes, i signed the OL bcs they need it for pre-employment. but imagine only 2 days left before reporting for duty they lapsed my OL. i was in shock dont know what to do, my prev comp ady did farewell celebration for me. contacted one of my colleague there, my boss okay if i work with them again. felt very ashamed, but it is what it is. not blaming the petronas HR tho, the process of pre-employment is not good for a company like petronas. even if i am unfit for work, they still got probation for 6 months to check if i am suitable or not.

Bro do u have any health issue? Which part of the medical checkup causing ur OL to lapse.?

Got high blood pressure thru family history. Im off medication for almost 6 months now. If im not mistaken, petronas only want to hire if no medication or off medication for at least a year.

I see. So that is the reason behind the lapse of ur OL. I pray for your recovery and perfect health. Lets just hope your future is brighter elsewhere.

I was specifically asked by the HR to not resign until i received their final confirmation on all conditions.

A few days later, They sent me an email confirming that the medical check up is successful and I can proceed to resign.
