i wanna ask, i just been called by SKG bintulu for Mechanical Engineering position and say they will send me an email for their online assessment in this few weeks.

May i know what would that online assessment includes? Also if it involves mathematical question, do they give u some calculus kind of thing to calculate? Or some physics instead like hooke's law, gas equation, momentum etc.

I would like to prepare myself better so might need some tips and advice from otai otai here. I have more than 6yrs experience currently.

She said mechanical only but i am more to mechanical static/piping punya ppl. But i do commissioned Compressors before haha. Just trying my luck The abstract assessment was abit clueless at first but once know the technique then looks ok, for the examples tried advanced examples questions and got all correct hopefully can pass. You are from SKG?

just received my online assessment session from HR, wish me luck it doesnt say is intermediate level but i saw is

(i) Verbal (24 questions) – 4 minutes

(ii) Numerical (16 questions) – 4 minutes

(iii) Abstract (10 questions) – 4 minutes

from my previous conversation with HR, seems to be mechanical engineering dept for SKGas

yeah should be experienced hire, even tougher lol, still early for congrats tho, need to pass all the session..

anyone know how long does it takes to know the online assessment result?

If online assessment? The one befor cbi.. or what u mean is after 4 months they only ask u to go cbi?

I see.. damn so long only know result lol. Did u follow up with them? Or u just done the assessment and wait for them lol.

anyone know how long after CBI they contact? if they not going to proceed with u will they let u know?

gain few years experience and prove yourself worthy without the toilet paper and ppl wont give a shit about ur cgpa. there is always different path to get to places u want. Since u cant turn back time to get better cgpa, then u can opt for other ways.

i think if total loss on either 1 ear is considered not fit. Because hearing is needed and when u wear ear plug, alarm is really tough to hear.

Hi guys, i just sent an email to the HR handling my interview and such and she reverted that my interview was successful and recommended. DOes this mean that i am now just waiting for an offer?

shortsighted wont be a problem, ur vision is acceptable should be fine. if not they will ask u to do correction and come back.
