hye guys,

I'm am on the verge of receiving my offer letter from Petronas. I attended SI at PGB last month and asked to do medical examination yesterday. I completed the examination this morning. I checked with the HR the offer letter should be out by next week.

I have few questions here

1. If the offered salary lower than our expected, can we still negotiate with HR to increase, a bit if not up to the expected?

2. Can we nego with them on the report duty date? delay it by few days or a week or so.

I'm trying to look for a complete employment benefits from Petronas, in terms of leaves, medical, etc. I've seen once in the thread. If anyone here have any reference, appreciate if you could share with me. Would like to do some comparisons. =)

2. YES - but ur salary will be pro-rated and if u ask for later than the 2nd week of the month, ur salary shall be paid in the following month.

Want to ask, I have a brother, he is 19, SPM leaver. How to apply job in Petronas for SPM leavers?

But SPM sahaja tak cukup nowadays. Suruh adik kau sambung buat diploma in petroleum engineering kat Politeknik Ungku Omar Ipoh. Its recognized by Instep.

ALAM is Akademi Laut Malaysia. ALAM is subsidiary of MISC which eventually also a subsidiary of PETRONAS.

Aduiiiii kalau SPM setakat lulus memang payah nak join PETRONAS even for level operator and technician.

Adik kau minat tak nak keja O&G tapi mesti bertabah hati okay. Aku suggest suruh adik kau pergi enroll PUSPATRI JOHOR dan ambik CSWIP 3.1 for free! Siap dibayar elaun sara hidup setiap bulan sampai pass exam CSWIP.

Kalau ada CSWIP 3.1 senang nak cari makan. Tak perlu join PETRONAS pun tak apa.
