it's normal bro! i've done my SI and get the results on the same day, got the official email the next day (with medical instruction), offer letter in a week (when i tot that the results should be ready in 2 weeks time).

just sharing, not belagak or what not..hehe...

so, nnt blow that thing kuat2 ye,    cz quite a number i heard x lps that breathing (nak check ur lungs) test. aku pon, budak klinik yg buat sebab die ckp mesin tu kdg2 weng...hahah

there's a lot of things to consider:

1. the efficiency of ur recruiter
2. whether ur boss nak pakai org that badly (like in my case)
3. rezeki...
4. sabar
5. doa
6. hehehee

but no worries, it will be if it is.....

Anyone still waiting an offer letter from MLNG? It's been almost 5 months since the SI.

Actually, u dont have to send in the results urself. The letter states that the clinic should do the job..huhu...but the downside is that, i dont know the results..aiyoo...rugi betul.

Just be patient. In my case, it's been 5 months since the medical check, still, waiting for the offer letter. Remember one thing, 2015 is a tough year for oil and gas industry. Don't hope too high and be prepared to face the consequences.

That was indeed fast, my SI was on the very next day after yours (mine on 24th Dec 2014) and yet still did not receive any news until today despite calls and email. Have to seriously look into what's happening in the O&G industry at the moment especially regarding the Oil price.   

Heard they are going to downsize and restructure the employees. If this is going to happen, I believe new recruitment will be freezed for now. Anyone inside the company can confirm?

Really? Mine pulak on the letter told me to go for PIPE on 4th Feb and report duty at KLCC on 13th, but yesterday HR told me that they cancelled the PIPE because there are not enough participant and asked me to report duty at KLCC first then go for PIPE on March.

As for me i've passed my SI in Sept and received a call from Miss Juliana (recruitment manager) early in Nov. She offered me as recruitment exec and asking whether i can rport duty asap. But up until now havent heard anything. Anyone knows about PDB freezing their recruitment?. It worries me since i had turned down my contract recently just to prepare for PETRONAS. 😢😢

well. my HR rep doesn't use the word freeze. Delay until CNY because of restructuring. Only after that would they clear all of the applications instead.

if u ask to defer the report duty, u salary also late meh...
PIPE is a compulsory training, btw. so, until u attend, ur confirmation is put on hold. of course ur superior will ask u to go settle this HRM thingy anyhow.

tgk la sape yg cakap. kalau dah kije 20thn dulu, mane ade PIPE segala bagai ni. my advise is, just settle cepat2. and it's true kalau dah start kerja, susah nak tag off. lagi2 kalau kene g offshore, sabah/swak. good luck..!
