Just got call from hr. Pass my TA and need to attend SI next monday..i'm quite nervous. Anyone can share their SI exp.? And they ask me to ctc my doc. Just want to know for payslip,who supposedly can ctc it?for other doc i already ctc previously. Only for payslip.hope u can share with me.

Finished my chit chat today, job opening in PGB.
But I noticed that the forms used stated "Technical Assessment".

Weird.

The whole thing took 1 1/2 hours..
Tomorrow have another chit chat with another Dept

that's just normal. For an SI, the HR will have to find 2 assessor for the session. They are from the HR and the field so very hard to fix any dates to say. normally for any TA, there might be more recommended candidates than the number of vacancy. so, u will have to wait as they shall rank everyone for the SI.

having said that, normally those recommeded from the TA shall be called for SI - it's a matter of time. Good luck!

Petronas do hired fresh but mostly from UTP and some from other uni. U must have control and instrumentation or EE degree to be hired and E&I engineer.
If you cannot get a job with client, try to work as a vendor 1st like trisystem,foxboro,yokogawa,emerson and etc.These vendor usually will only hired fresh grad, after 3-4 years, these fresh will jump to client and the cycle goes on. Usually people that have work with vendor for few years easily be hired to client because of the connection they have during working as a vendor. For me, i do have EE degrees from UTP but have worked in oil and gas telecommunication field for 5 years. I have  a lot of friends who is working 4-5 years in other field like manufacturing,factory suddenly being hired by petronas for position that is totally different. In this case you cannot demand the salary, they maybe offer you slightly higher than fresh grad rate but still if you work in factory you cannot get 4.5k(engineering fresh grad rate for petronas) within 5 years,rarely happens.

For me, i alwiz believe in rezeki. Don't push too hard and follow the flow.

They have not asked me to do med check up and yes, I did went to the SI couple months ago.

I think u havent read your offer letter. salary & date to report duty  are  clearly stated in the letter

medical leave is standard 30 days. For annual leave, you start off with 15 days of AL

So you will be reporting for duty in PGB based in Kerteh then?

2. got low interest if apply loan (personal, house, car) with bank islam, panel bank
3. got discounts for some luxury cars. Cant remember the list. All inside HR webpage
4. AL - 15 days, can carry forward 10 days. Hospitalization/Medical leave - 30 days. Marriage leave - 7 days
5. can join KOPETRO (koperasi petronas). and apply loans without subject to CCRIS, CTOS and all those crap. can park your money there too
6. entitle for 3x points for mesra cards. just update the operator your staff id. wait 21 days and you are good to go
7. some discounts at petronas participating merchants like burger king (use mesra card) or petrosains
8. got discounts for membership at kelab golf & rekreasi petronas

just wondering, after completing the SI, how long till your hear back to proceed to the medical check up ?
