are you using coax cable for rca-rca? the pictures are quite confusing though

yes, since it is not easy to get a better (proper) cable in my hometown

i mean, i know it's RCA terminated at one side, but not the other side. it may be mono-rca, or mini-rca. and of course it's darn obvious that it's coax cable. lol!

Errm, my Sony Eggo's recently went kaput, as the right hand side can won't make a squeak.

So I'm hoping a cable change would help both fix this problem and also improve the sound quality, is there anyone here that is willing to help me?

by the way, there are 2 possibilities in your case:
1. the connection points are disconnected/loose. resolder will solve your problem. you might opt for recable to improve the quality.
2. your driver is burnt, even recable cant save your cans.

I don't have a camera, but there's nothing to photograph anyway as I'm not opening the unit up

Thus I need someone to confirm it for me and if it's fixable, upgrade the cable for me

I'm currently building my new home theater room and need long run of cables. Currently I'm looking for canare 4s11 cable in bulk (200ft min) and see most people recommend to search from jalan pasar. Anyone know where to get the genuine canare cable. Somehow, I don't really trust some of the shop as nowadays, there is a lot of imitation goods. Thanks in advance.

hmm.. IINM, i've never see any 4S11 at pasar road.. but if you wanna get them at pasar road, the only distributor is IC Electronics, which carries genuine product of Canare. so, no worries mate..

by the way, you should head there and ask if they can order for you since you want in large quantity

i using Canare F10 plugs+Canare LV-61S RG59 Coax Cable....or U can use Belden 1694A (RG-6 spec co-axial cable)....

use F-10 la.. then look for 75ohm coaxial cable by canare too. the model is Canare LV-61S
