I wonder whether your protein shake is 1 serving or... If it is 1 serving, then you consume 100g of protein from shake alone. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
If you already know your macro nutrition ratio and your daily diet meets the ratio, then it is good enough.

And I'm wondering, why don't you just decide whether to bulk or cut?
*
hi, it is one serving, provides around 24g of protein, i am 1.78m tall 190pounds heavy. want to cut down nao. so badly.

If you only want the protein value, 4 eggs with 6g protein each can replace whey in terms of protein value.

For breakfast, not so bad i guess. That is what i have tongue.gif
For brunch, try adding on something light? Fruits perhaps? smile.gif An apple!
For Lunch , where are the vegetables? Missing in action? wink.gif Ribena = Sugar. Avoid drinking cold drinks too. Chicken make sure it isnt oily!
For dinner, i dont know about you. I'm currently in the process of losing weight. My dinner would be no rice at all, oats prob less oats and more vegetables. A light dinner will do smile.gif
For supper, avoid supper. Dont take supper, not not good. After workout i feel that i dont have much energy too until i started drinking lots of water during workout. Hmmm hmm.gif
All the best!

it depends on the food you are eating.
but whatever you're eating, working out at 5pm is kinda late after you have eaten at 1.30pm.

Your meal is enough or not is depending totally on your daily calorie requirement and daily macro nutrition requirement. If you need 140g of protein per day, you need to consume 140g per day. You need to count calorie because without doing so, you wouldn't know whether what you ate is enough or not.

2-3 hours after you consume your meal should be ok for you to exercise. What you need to make sure is that your stomach isn't full or you might vomit all the food in your stomach and it is not a very good scene in the gym

There is no late or early time to workout. If you feel like working out at 4 am, do it. As long as you feel that you want to workout, not being force to workout. Actually, late evening is a good time to workout as test hormon are at its highest at that time; which is a very good thing. I've seen a video about it, maybe I'll upload it here.

that's your personal preference, i have nothing against it.

+1
but i think it depends on individual, some people experience their best training performance in an immediately fed state, while others do best in a semi-fasted or fasted state.

i think you've misunderstood, the "late" is not referring to the time to have a workout, it's referring to the time to workout after you've eaten.

For best results from personal experience, eat some carbs + protein around 1 hr before you hit the gym.

I've had some crazy workouts after popping off a proteinplus powerbar as pre-workout.

I also found, in a pinch, a plus-size snickers/mars bar is a very tasty and energizing preworkout biggrin.gif

I like Boost by Cadbury (I think). Had that with a Redbull as a preworkout two times before and both workouts I hit PRs on various exercises. biggrin.gif

Definitely not for someone on a calorie restricted diet though tongue.gif

I'd go with a boost too. Although, taking that would result me in running like some hyperactive kid instead. laugh.gif

LOL I had a Boost bar and 2 Redbulls before a leg workout once. I was fidgeting away and got really jittery after about 20 minutes or so. Super sugar rush! Felt so hyper. laugh.gif
