For best results from personal experience, eat some carbs + protein around 1 hr before you hit the gym.

I've had some crazy workouts after popping off a proteinplus powerbar as pre-workout.

I also found, in a pinch, a plus-size snickers/mars bar is a very tasty and energizing preworkout biggrin.gif

LOL I had a Boost bar and 2 Redbulls before a leg workout once. I was fidgeting away and got really jittery after about 20 minutes or so. Super sugar rush! Felt so hyper. laugh.gif

Holy shit that's like what 150g ++ of carbs in one sitting??!?!

Dayummmm........

I love those Fortifx bars from Egonutritions. Can't get enough of em especially the peanut butter cup. Such a shame they're soooooo pricey. sad.gif

i'm sorry i have no idea when it comes to calculating  shakehead.gif

Looking at your recent progress pics, you are still far from fat.

There's no need to crack your head calculating, just eat more til you hit around 75-80kgs, then reduce the carbs. smile.gif

my question:
is it sugar equal to carbs???
coz i see some ppl when they list down their diet intake
they dont put carbs in the list but i see sugar.
*
Sugar is considered "fast carbs" like maltodextrose.

Some people seperate it because they split the slow compound carbs (brown rice, sweet potatoes) from the simple sugars (used PeriWO)

It's not something you need to worry too much about until you get more advanced.............

Let's just say i wanna prepare a Salmon dish
Common ingredients are
Rosemary
Salt
Pepper

Is Salt bad for health? Since i'm planning to lose weight. I never put salt in any of my meals for 6 months already, my taste buds are craving for salt :/
*
No, salt is not only good for health and in fact necessary to replenish the minerals washed out of your body during sweat, but of course, excess salt is bad for health.

Moderation is key.........

Btw, if you cooked the earlier dish, I gotta say, you are a pretty damn good cook! Certainly better than me, and I consider myself not bad (better than most girls tongue.gif )!!

So will it make a difference if i add a pinch of salt into my meal? Ahahah! Craving for salt  doh.gif
Thanks buddy!

Of course it won't, knock yourself out. smile.gif

If you're really worried, use sea salt and drink more water. You'll be fine.

I'm intend to drink 1 bottle of Gatorade (not cold) or 100 plus (not cold) everyday after each workout. I need to stay fit and focus at night. Any dangerous effect?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
Why would Gatorade keep you "fit and focus(ed)"? hmm.gif

Yes depending on the amount consumed and total macros you can be leading yourself down the sweet garden path to diabetes.

By the way, diabetes affects a growing number of malaysians every day.

I would stay away.

If you want to be focused - green tea, green tea extract, guarana, caffeine tabs, coffee >>>>>>> soda.

In that order.
