QUOTE(edwardccg @ Nov 13 2013, 12:07 PM) you will get your 5% (cap at rm50) when you swipe between 13th - 28th Nov, if you swipe 29th Nov - 12 Dec then get 1% unlimited. so still can get your last 5% from 13th Nov - 28th Nov my cycle is 18th. so i only have 10 days, 19th Nov - 28th Nov to swipe for 5% just called CS to made the change, they have some date to choose from meaning whatever usage I use from 13th nov to 28th nov will be 5% but cap at RM50 and after that its 1% unlimited right? then at the end of the billing follow cap RM50 or still unlimited?

QUOTE(smsbusiness2u @ Nov 13 2013, 01:50 PM) no hurt to keep the cc until next annual year come. cos it might have other campaign or promotion. or u can still use this cc if u have hit the cap at other cc. bad things is i could not hold 3 CC as my income is less than 36k. have to cancel 1 so that i could apply another replacement card. QUOTE(crusher @ Nov 13 2013, 02:01 PM) so at the end of the bill have more than RM50 rebate then. Am I right? according to the CS, is yes. if you worry, just stop when you reach rm50. next cycle only enjoy the unlimited.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Nov 13 2013, 12:12 PM) sometimes i feel that we don't have to be too sarcastic or too strict in our reply to each another. when one has some noob/repeated questions, we don't have to give sarcastic reply to them, but with simple explanation will do. when one has gone off-topic, we don't have to give a harsh warning to them, but with friendly reminder will do. we are all credit cards owners or owner-to be > meaning that we are all adults who know how to think smart > to save money through credit cards rebates. +1

people, i just spoke with OCBC CS. the RM50 rebate per month is pro-rated, so it's unlikely to max out with only 5% rebate catergories unless ur statement date is on 29th. for example, the statement date is 14th (half a mth to 29th), the max rebate can get from 5% is only RM25. For the rest, you need to spend 2.5k to get 1% rebate after that day. edit: another guy3288 found one diff calculation from CS @ https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=64529023Post #496 This post has been edited by lamode: Nov 14 2013, 09:26 AM
