It seems that OCBC no longer issues OCBC Titanium mastercard. I had just visited their website, it's not there anymore, only Platinum and Gold available.
Congrats to those who manage to get their cards before the end of Titanium card!
Those who are not, let's pray for OCBC would come out with a better card.

Today (25/10) is the last day they accept nrw application. Make sure all your required documents are ready and well documented then you still can go ahead and apply. Last day last day... come on! Jump on bandwagon or regret later.

UOB is actually not complicated, just that they impose caps on each of the Rebate Categories.  But I agree its hassle to remember the sub-limits.

Complicate is like RHB, Petrol Rebate is capped to 20% of Retail Spending.

Haha.. remembering all these would get my hair drop even faster. smile.gif Thats why I still prefer MBB2 card the most.

higher CL means you can spend more for the unlimited 1% yo  tongue.gif

But first card still mbb2 amex(7%/2%), if dont accept amex then only TMC(1%), online transaction will go to RHB VS (5%). TMC CL is 2.5 times my mbb2 though.

sometimes i feel that we don't have to be too sarcastic or too strict in our reply to each another.  shakehead.gif
when one has some noob/repeated questions, we don't have to give sarcastic reply to them, but with simple explanation will do.  nod.gif
when one has gone off-topic, we don't have to give a harsh warning to them, but with friendly reminder will do.  icon_rolleyes.gif
we are all credit cards owners or owner-to be > meaning that we are all adults who know how to think smart > to save money through credit cards rebates.  cool2.gif

As I am a new OCBC TMC user, I would be looking at how I can utilise the 1% rebate and must not think bout the 5% at all.

For me, I think I will use this card solely for insurance both auto debit plus manual. 1% rebate is still better than other card 1x point, 2x point, or 0.4% rebate. Plus if the 10k spending to get GST rebate is to stay on then it would be bonus.

if your insurance is tokio marine, you may use your amex for 5% + 5x poiints pay via m2u.
or if your insurance is aia, you may pay over the counter for 5x points (2%).
sorry, i know it's off-topic. tongue.gif
*
No tokio marine. AIA only got one policy but that premium is not much, so the 1% extra doesnt seem to cover the time, parking n petrol. sad.gif I have prudential, hong leong assurance, great eastern n msig. Can recommend any CC that can give better than the TMC benefits?

Yup... not easy to reach rm50 especially if u r using this as a secondary card, not to mention third or fourth.

Say if ur CC spending is 50% of ur income, there are many 2k income earner around that can max out rm50 easily.

But to reach rm50 at the rate of 1%, and factor in the same scenario, u need to be in the 10k earner group. Its a drastic difference of 8k monthly income!!!
