don't bother hoping for them to waive the GST, my spending was more than RM10k too but they said it cannot be waived, so i just cancelled it immediately. what's the point keeping it when  the privileges are no more there.

Finally got my JAN rebate.

Called to CS request to cancel my card, my anniversary will be next month.

Been advice that it is possible to waive the GST based on my payment behavior. CS asked to call back again on 10/4 due to this is the date of GST charge by bank for my credit card.

don take the risk
i spent quite big$$ with the card last year
and called 1 month before anniversary to OCBC to cancel
but ask to wait and call back OCBC when the gst was charged

call in last week to request for GST waive
and today received call said that management did not approve   
no reversal can be done
