i replaced OCBC Titanium with RHB for petrol. For utility, i still dun which to use? For movie, i use HLB GSC.

RHB give better offer for petrol spending?

yes, you are right:
1) mbb2cards amex 5% but only during weekends
2) aeon watami 3% but minimum rm3k transactions in a quarter
3) alliance you:nique 3% but with tiers
4) hlb wise 10% but on selected categories with min swipes/month
*
thumbup.gif
so even OCBC change to 1% but is still not that worst...

Finally the official letter dated on 25 Nov 2013, receive on 10 Dec 2013 to tell us what we already know.
Upgrading to World MasterCard to get 1.2% seem like a good deal if there's no other better cards in the market.
*
Thinking the 1.2% apply to all expenses or only retail? How about online purchase? Installment, auto-bill?
Any idea?

Just checked with OCBC call centre myself.

For OCBC Titanium card
- Confirmed that AF will be free for life.
- No waiving of GST or RM50 rebate annually, regardless how much you spend per year

For World Mastercard
- RM 388 AF for second year onwards since first year is waived
- AF and GST can't be waived, regardless how much you spent annually.
- With 0.2%, one has to spend RM194,000 just to get back rebate of RM 388 to cover the AF.

Summary: Better to stick with OCBC Titanium card if you are a die hard OCBC fan. There's plenty of equivalent CC around the market with unlimited 1% rebate, not to mention with evergreen point system no?

thx for update...

Yes you are right, but I'm using it on large amount for unit trust in Great Eastern. I don't prefer watami due to the capping.
*
my insurance is about 1500 so i should apply AEON right?
the quarter cash rebate = 1500 * 3months * 3% = 135.

is my calculation correct?
Thx

You mean your insurance is RM1,500 per month? Yes, then your calculation is correct.  This is a very good card for such monthly autodebit.

You still have room to do some additional payments such as monthly Electricity Bills or Streamyx / Unifi bills.

The monthly limit is RM1,666

thank you.. will go apply asap smile.gif
