Yeah alot of ppl suggested popish music stick to Hd600. Classical would be HD650.

now u know which model grab my mind mostly after the comparison. They are alot of similar statement sharing around forums against HD650.

Some ppl said AKG701 sounds boring & dry at its first listening. Need to burn quite long time to blossom.

(i still cannot *feel* the beyer power..Anyway the headphone design is the sweetest amongst these kings)

K701 would be nice too ~~~ I'm going the Beyer route once I got the moolah , the review is too good to be ignore Your grado Sr60 been serving you for long enough, it's time for him to retire

alrite pips. a recent trip downtown singapore during pc show 06 (yeah, i know, lame name for a pc fair) revealed a wonderful high-end portable audio shack.

gabriel was kind enough to let me sample RS-1 (w/o his boss knowledge - of course) and quoted me a price of SGD1050 if i were to take it that very second.

they stock Senn, AKG, Beyerdynamics, Allessandro (Grado Labs punya jugak), Grado and such

they also have a wide range of headphone amp

i am not their affiliate nor do i gain any profit

but it's a nice shack if u wanna sample out some high end phones before purchasing

Near Balness is superior for critical listening since, the brushing of hair creates noise, itch and dandruff for me, plus when my sideburns get too long they tend to ruin my listening experience.

I went over their booth to during PC Show, but never got to listen to RS-1 . Well that place is noisy..

I would dream to open a headphone store selling Sennheiser, Grado, AKG and Beyerdynamic ~~~ then incorperate with some DIYer building some head amp for my business

But I got to start with low and mid budget headphone first

Would like to coorperate with you producing head amp instead I believe that would be a heaven for all headfier out there ... There's where we could do gathering all the time

There are 3 HiFi shops and myself want to invest to open a Head-Fi shop, after some business simulation & discussions, buyers education and market structure. Opening a Head-FI shop in Malaysia either in prime area or less running cost area sure it will fail.

Considered changing your shampoo?

make sure you also host an "annual head-fi meet" and offer discounts on that particular day. It'll be fun to meet up with people of the same interests

I'm using Selsun 5 percent selenium suspension, it's hard to go more hardcore than that lol, unless i use Nizoral but that stuff is expensive.

Frankly I don't think there is enough interest in the general public for a shop like that to survive, maybe you can do something like mikechai's business instead, just bring in headphones by bulk.

I had just selected AKG701 to my Top selection list. Senn would be my after choice. Anyway, final conclusion would be make after I audition all of em.

i agree on Davis on his points. It is not easy to maintain such business somemore Headphone is quite an extra hobby. Mostly youngster would spent more into handphone. Older ppl will spent into HiFi system.
Anyway, if do it for Hobby or freetime to break.
