QUOTE(chernloon @ Jun 20 2006, 08:23 PM) My Neighbour auntie Sasamori loved to play it on her piano, so i borrowed the CD and ripped it. All i have is a digital copy of that 1 song QUOTE wow guess it's rather good. Sounds better than HP895 too.. very tempting PX200 Yeah i was quite suprised at it's quality. After i saw the "Powerful Bass" blurb on the box i was thinking, OH SHI. Feng Tau bass, but it really suprised me. It doesn't do too well with Pop due to it's lack of punch and without an amp it's high end is muddy and weak, other than that, i think it's a keeper. haha...i know i will go for RS-1 in near future~~ This forum is poisoning me so horribly.
In fact, i am a person still like wider soundstage listening more than forward music. I think AKG got the bright sound signature(yet stronger like Grado) mix wif wider soundstage of Sennheiser. This is after a couple of reviews i read at head-fi & taiwan forum. Dunno such theory can apply into ur guys observation?! This post has been edited by dinodog_Jr: Jun 21 2006, 12:26 PM |

Or you may try Beyerdynamic, the new version DT990 seems to be a warmer and laid back of DT880 with wider soundstage and more quality lower range ~~~In fact, i am a person still like wider soundstage listening more than forward music. Another suggestion is grab the HD600 in garage sales, later pairing it with silver cable to tighten the so-called veil sound, and the final step get yourself a warm solid state amp like M^3 ... there goes your good combo |

Chernloon.
u funny dude... GS1000... dun like dat man.. jigon, Dat's why i will leave RS1 alone for this very reason. God, BD DT990 over RM2000 oredi..gosh..Perhaps we got davis to bring it in wif cheaper price. Yea i did came across the 2nd hand HD600 in the garage sales. I hope Davis will bring it HD600 instead. Yesterday i oso came across such discussion bout HD600 recabling wif Zu cable(No idea bout Zu is..) After dat the HD600 sound would be closer to HD650. Anyway, wondering how many years for another sennheiser high-end headphone will be announce? eg. HD700?! ..haha.. p/s: Just now i am listening to audiophile song from Eva Cassidy's 'What a wonderful world'. I think der is an echo sound from the singing which i cannot hear in my SR60. Perhaps wider soundstage will be allow to hear a *longer* echo sound?! Or i should use "surround" sound. |

Leave the Zu cable out of the equation until you've heard the sound of the HD600 and HD650 for yourself.. you might be surprised some people like the HD600 more |
