Using HD650 with Zu Mobius.
HD 595 improves little with amp usage in my opinion.

QUOTE(DAViS @ Jun 17 2006, 11:29 AM) Plannning now.. Probably you can't feel it.Hmm... is it? I went in the hall quite early during pretalk session. I just feel that nothing really resonance back even my foot steps. The whole atmosphere just quite like wearing noise cancellation earphone (not noice cancellation plugs). |

QUOTE(leeyn @ Jul 13 2006, 11:19 AM) I didn't do that cause I know I would have to sell it soon The Zu Mobius is only for HD 600 onwards (maybe 580 too?) The memory cable really sucks lar. Even when I roll up the stock cable of the HD 650, it falls back nicely. The HD 595 cable is like some mess up pasta or something. |

Just got the HD 555. Did I plunge myself back into the Sennheiser team again?
Don't really remember the HD 595 but I fell the plastic feels somewhat cheaper and the grip is tighter. I think the HD 595 extends slightly more to fit bigger heads but I'm not sure. Maybe because its brand new. The shitty memory cable is still there though |

QUOTE(ijan @ Aug 23 2006, 04:41 PM) I never had the 555 actually. Just wanted a good quality headphone for PC DVD, games and the occasional MP3 listening. My Phillips SPH 805 seems to distort quite a bit at the lower end (points for confort though). I do kind of prefer the 595 over the HD 650 and others for PC usage so I remember what people said about the 555 being like 80% of 595, so why not? I don't use this for critical listening so not gonna comment about its audiophile quality although frankly speaking, the 595 is not a lot of better, to me at least. |

QUOTE(yeahs4.1 @ Sep 4 2006, 03:44 AM) y dun u jz add a headamp? I think getting the HD 650 (or others) first then the amp later would be a much better solution. At least you can make sure the amp pairs well. it's cheaper and it gonna boost up ur HD595 performance.. HD595 gonna need a headamp to be really really shine.. The 595 doesn't improve that much to justify an amp for it in my opinion. |
