Honestly I don't have a credit card. I just came to wanting a card cuz I just bought a car. Thought would be nice getting cash back 4 petrol as getting a car loan was not as hard as I thought it would. So I thought credit card will be the same. But citibank rejected me 2 times for one application. And now he called me to ask me try for the 3 time.saying something about manual processing the application for potential but got rejected people. Maybe he's interested in me....haha...
Btw...I sent him my latest payslips thru email and he never replied. Guess I'll have to wait and see. But its only a day now. God I hate waiting.

What Citibank credit card you applied for? Most Citibank credit cards don't earn you anything for petrol, and if it does, I got a strong feeling the cash back you get won't be enough to pay for the GST next year.

Wanna ask. For card application. If I self-employed. Do I required to provide latest BE form with official tax receipt. Or just those copies of business reg & bank statements? Thanks notworthy.gif

•Copy of NRIC (both sides) or Passport, including that of supplementary applicant's
•Latest BE form with official tax receipt

If you are self-employed:
•Copies of Business Registration
•Latest 6 months' Bank Statements

If you are an expatriate:

Like what is stated, your 6 months bank statements. I also mentioned this in my article A Little Bit Of This and A Little Bit Of That Vol.1, Chapter IV. If you are in KL or 1U, just drop by Maybankard Centre on weekdays before 7pm if you want the Maybankard 2 Cards where your application can be approved within 2 hours. Now, I do not see any harm in submitting your BE form if it can strengthen your application. In my article I have the contact number for Maybankard Centre @ The Gardens, call them and ask for more info.

What is it about rejection that you are afraid of? Don't think Citibank card is any privilege also as their card don't really have much benefit.
