may I ask from those who is using 4.3 android, how can we add user app's widget to the lock screen? As I can see now it only allow to add certain pre define widget...

You can't do that with stock rom I guess. With custom roms, you can.

Is stock 4.3 have setting to turn off data/wifi/bluetooth when screen is OFF and enable when screen is ON? I not sure whether I have overlook or there is not included?

yes for wifi.

in advance wireless setting there is option Keep wifi on during sleep.

bluetooth and data is always on.

I dont know what kind of radio they put in n4. The line is poor, even my friend iphone 4s is more snappier and feel faster when browsing net :3.any comments/ideas???

did you update ur radio? o.o mine seems fine. Unless... those stutters are caused by low reception.. but my uni mmg low woo, at home seems ok. o.o

U r not alone. Most of us face the similar issues like yours, some of us even compare to iPhone 4s/5 and other Samsung devices on the same telco, doing the same test indoor which found that Nexus 4 reception signal are lower comparing to above devices I mentioned.

But I'm not sure the 4.3 fix the problem or not, because I'm still on 4.2.2. I heard someone said the 4.3 radio got some changes. So better ask someone else here.

i have the old Samsung Galaxy W, iPhone 5 and Nexus 4 (main)... seem like same only... never really compare the reception though...

about iphone 4s snappier... hmm i have iPhone 5, tested before and after iOS 7...it's smooth, just as smooth as my nexus 4.... again, non-scientific testing...

I can't recall when, I read one of the forumer here do the test with his own phone here back few version before of this thread.

Even thou, I also experience the same things when I was still on Maxis(currently on Umobile).
I remember when I was on Maxis(Nexus4) and my mom on Maxis too(old school Nokia bar soap) She can get full bar inside my house, while my Nexus 4 only capable to get 1 or 2 bar only. That was almost 8months ago happen to me, I think that time should be still at 4.2.1 or 4.2.2 something if not mistaken.

comparing bar is a little too vague since apple tends to display higher bar compare to android although the signal strength (-dBm) is about the same.

next time when you wanna compare, try this:

iPhone:
call *3001#12345#*

that will show the signal in -dBm instead of bars... when you quit the field test app, it will revert back to bars

android:
setting, about phone, status

anyway, iPhone is not some cheap phone... i am admired by their hardware... so, even if their signal strength is better, i m not surprise... i just dont think it'll be a lot of different since nexus 4's MDM9215M should be quite good too.

call *#*#4636#*#* to check the signal strength in real time.
