Hi guys, I need the experts help. My story : I plugged in a car charger in my Nexus 4. After a while it was off. When I tried turning on, it cant be powered on! Then when I got back home & used the wall charger, the RED LIGHT of death was blinking. I did some search & followed the methods, including from xda but it can never be turned on! What shall I do, any repair place that I can bring my phone to be resurrected? Plz help guys, its URGENT!

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Oct 21 2013, 11:11 AM) Chill, Just go home and charge it(using LG charging adapter) for couples hours like 4-8hours, then try to boot it again. Reason, possible your car charger unable to charge your Nexus 4 + your battery already miscalibrate. So is fall under 0% of battery, give it a try before further. Thanks for ur prompt reply. I tried charging nearly 6 hours & reboot, still the same. Than I opened the back cover removed the battery & reconnected it & rebooted, still no response.

QUOTE(s30ckf @ Oct 21 2013, 01:42 PM) how about this way: 1. Unplug phone from charger 2. Press and hold the volume UP button plus power button for 60 seconds. 3. Release buttons. 4. Plug into charger 5. Wait about an hour for it to charge. hmmm, did something like that earlier. the problem is there is zero response. So cant judge what is happening.

QUOTE(jacktay94 @ Oct 25 2013, 09:41 PM) did they say wat happened? o.o when I asked he said the problem with CPU... but when I sent I did not mention that I plugged in a different charger(scared cant claim! ) so I just told cant on. Today was rushing so did not have much time... My guess is maybe the voltage was more than required, but I am a noob when comes to this kinda thing though... QUOTE(skip2malou @ Oct 26 2013, 01:28 AM) Hahaha ... good to hear that !!! Glad everything is ok. As for what charger to use, our original stated 1.2A , so dont use anything more than that. We dont really look at Voltages and more on amperes. Anyways, did you guys saw this news ?? http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/25/lte-ena...-bluetooth-sig/Either they meant there is going to be a new Nexus 4 with LTE or the LTE module on our phone might be usable in the next update .... thanks man 4 the info, LTE update? that will b awesome!!!
