QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 8 2007, 02:50 PM) Not all Micron D9 chipset is a good overclocker. Only three model that is confirmed to be a good overclocker. That is, D9GCT, D9GMH & D9GKX. Nowadays? You can only wish. As most valueram that comes with those three chipset i state up there is nomore. You can only get 2nd hand ram in the garage sales section. .. . 3 D9 valueram no more in market .. the only way is save $$ buy high performance lo ...

my D9GCT suddenly act weird and my TA690G cant boot. Its all happened after i memtest both stick and found lots of errors on test 5 and 6.Btw during the test the ram setting is by spd or default. After i upped my vdimm more than 2.2v then the board cant boot and diagnostic led shown memory error. Now i plug my fren KVR667 and its all good.Plus if i stick KVR667 wit my D9 it could boot.So shud i RMA the ram n there goes my D9 izzit?
editted: After reading some ol thread at XS regarding D9 dead issues i found that i need to set vdimm up to 2.2v for my D9 to boot up.Default vdimm 1.95v cant power up the system Thanks in advance

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 9 2007, 08:45 AM) Why in the world do you want Hynix FP-S5? Those are Great Chips. equalling or better than those OCable D9s. VR zone has a review on it.

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Aug 9 2007, 08:50 AM) Those are Great Chips. equalling or better than those OCable D9s. VR zone has a review on it. I knew that lol. But then, it's really hard to find the good revision of FP-S5. IINM, the good revision of FP-S5 is revision B, correct? Which FP-S5 revision B is really hard to find. Instead of pushing yourself to get a hard to find FP-S5 Revision B, why don't you just go and find D9GMH? EDIT: I forgot to tell one thing, FP-S5 Revision A is a big sucker in overclocking. Been there, done that. * I can only post about this after nakata101 has finished selling those ram that he sell that uses FP-S5 Revision A chipsets. Don't want to ruin his sales, that's why i never tell anyone about this This post has been edited by sHawTY: Aug 9 2007, 09:03 AM

got them from US coz they look nice...
ocz crossfire ready ddr800 2gb kit (red)
ocz platinium rev.2 ddr800 2gb kit
ocz reaper ddr800 2gb kit (heatpipe) ok, i'm not a good ram ocer but these rams look nice so i bought them, n will sell off 1 or 2 pairs after testing... my mobo (975) can only go nothing more than 1100 or even in most case 1050mhz for ddr... so if can run at 1000mhz, then i think these rams should be good enuf... i'll see how much can they go... any1 tried them before care to share???
