commando and striker extreme selling @ c'zone with the most highest price...
personally i dun think it worth to buy now, from c'zone... because it just feed the pocket of their boss with a high profit... from some price comparison, guest the profit gained is more than 300... |

( if u bargain futher they will browse their computer and check stock, hardware cost, how much margin to get.... and then will markup to get a nice price for u) The reason i like buy hardward in Viewnet is.. their things is cheap and they are more willing to give discounts.. always buy my things over there lol. How to overclock my corsair value ddr667? Im only aiming 700mhz to 750mhz.
Im using Gigabye DS4. What the starting point of my voltage add and what the max. The multiplier setting is limited in ds4. Please please enlighten me. |

increase little by little
up vdimm if not stable use memtest or superpi32m to test it's all basic obviously you did not try to read overclocking guide nor the ram handbook |

there are two characteristics of ram in response to voltage
1. responsive to voltage increament - usually this type of ram rarely dies if you feed volt unless it far exceeds the norm. however the current ddr2 motherboards provide maximum safe voltage except for certain extreme boards. extreme boards are lame if you pair with cheapo ram. since it's just a DS4, it's just a 'enthusiast-friendly' board. 2. not responsive to voltage increament - no matter how you feed the voltage your ram just wont go nowhere...not +0.1V... not +1.0v. these kind of ram dislike high voltage and most likely they will die if you overvolt it for too long everything else is trial and error process. |
