How was oscar performing? and william? brazilian seem better playing in central midfield rather than at wing.

First 15 minutes was pretty sloppy from our side, and there's a handful of Schalke chances that went off target. After that, slowly we settled in.

First goal was another mistake by the keeper, and Eto benefited from it (he's pretty good at these). Right before the 2nd goal, we could have been leveled with them but thanks to Cech who make a crucial save, we managed to hold on to that.....and bam...the 2nd goal...which is a beauty.

3rd goal was alright, Lamps setting up Ba...not the cleanest of strike but manage to find the back of the net.

Oscar did well I would say, tracking back with defending...and linking up with attack. A good win....and hopefully that translate back to our winning streak.

the commentator also shocked.
he was commentating about the pace of game quite slow, all of sudden goal.

In Mou we trust notworthy.gif

Bila Mou tak bagi main player tu mesti ada sebab2 yang munasabah dan logik.

Ram + Mikel combo seems to be nice. Mikel just tackles and sit back, while Ram can be good both attacking and defending. rclxms.gif

If Oscar play as AM..then Ram + Mikel pivot is possible..cuz Oscar can drop deep to cover spaces.

If based on wat I saw during che vs schalke game, ram+mikel combo seems good but i noticed they kinda struggled to move the ball towards the wing or move the ball quickly. often they will pass sideways then going back again to centre backs. and few times when brana running fwd and cut back the ball, the ball will be lost back again as either there is nobody to attack the ball..smile.gif

Need Mata for this smile.gif

Lack the vision or the ability to spot chances for early passes IMO.

Ram Mikel pairing is more to solidarity.

Lamp Mikel pairing is more balance as Lamp's passing is usually nice. thumbup.gif

yup. During the schalke game, when pivot has the ball, got good options to pass the ball forward(usually longer passes), but Mikel/Ram take safer option most of time. Maybe Lamps would have attempted few of those.

Added on

Sportsmail/Dailymail reports that Hazard missed training session because he lost his passport during his visit to Lille. laugh.gif

Arsengal vs Man Utd this weekend. Hope it's a draw or a win for Man Utd. We'll be facing West Brom, can't afford anymore slip ups! KTBFFH!

for me this dude have been very neat and tidy and keep it compact in midfield...he deserve to play but due to his over defensive quality we should field him if our front 3 is too attacking minded...i notice why we won 3-0 at schalke is though schurrle, oscar and willian might not be so brilliant offensively, but they are incredibly hard working and quickly covered the space when we are defending and dont have the ball.....even in the jose comments he appreciate those qualities very much...

to me football is about 2 type of play..when you have the ball and when you dont have the ball....obviously the team he pick against schalke is very good in both those type....im not sure if hes gonna maintain that tonite or revert to much more offensive ppl tonite...
