i like mikel playing yesterday...quite solid n steady in midfield...of course hes forward pass as usual...but when we off the ball he help keep the defending formation tight n organized...

for me this dude have been very neat and tidy and keep it compact in midfield...he deserve to play but due to his over defensive quality we should field him if our front 3 is too attacking minded...i notice why we won 3-0 at schalke is though schurrle, oscar and willian might not be so brilliant offensively, but they are incredibly hard working and quickly covered the space when we are defending and dont have the ball.....even in the jose comments he appreciate those qualities very much...

to me football is about 2 type of play..when you have the ball and when you dont have the ball....obviously the team he pick against schalke is very good in both those type....im not sure if hes gonna maintain that tonite or revert to much more offensive ppl tonite...

oscar is damn hopeless in this game...cannot control the midfield...too scared got tackle all his one touch pass fail... :s

i notice we defend generally more solid and compact when mikel is in the team.....mikel for 1st eleven please

the game started with oscar as Attacking midfielder...but as the game progress they transition, oscar got shoved usually to the right....lamps keep getting forward and eventually take oscar position....ramires from Right wing slowly tuck behind lampard and partner mikel.....i say the progressive tactic JM implement works like a charm yesterday....

dont really like oscar general play....while he may be clinical and sharp in front of goal....but he is yet to impose himself in the centre of midfield like what lampard used to, xavi, fabregas, pirlo.... hes unable to hold the ball in the important area n easily lose it when challenged physically...

hard for chelsea to really control game if our playmaker is like this....

oscar as usual not the type of person who can stamp his authority and dominate the midfield....can't hold the ball in the final 3rd...

mou take a risk with the same lineup expecting consistent result against basle but it backfires...hope mou learn from this... so far quite baffle with chelsea team result this month...i would say collectively it is our worst performing month so far...

bodoh pilih kasih.....it shoulda been mikel spot....essien should stay at the bench!

pivot seem to lack solidity without mikel...pray hard we dont get counterattack often...

lampard, oscar n ramires is his anak emas...i just hope this 3 ppl dont let JM down n contribute something in this match if not JM gonna be in trouble soon....

i think JM instruct them to chase down the CB and full back, dont give opposition defense line too much time to dwell on the ball...good strategy for high push play...

gotta say mata contribute a lot to any key passes that happen in this game...

prolly mou lost his best defensive coach already? i notice wee keep leaking goals late with counter attack like the last goal by assaidi...a typical scene...after all those happen is mou still clueless how to prevent them? i think mou should revert back to 4-3-3 compact midfield style of play...

worst come to worst next time when a devastating counter attack about to happen just ask any of our players to intentionally foul them please....

mou took his chance to change formation during 2nd half and it backfires...too bad...his tactics work and was brilliant last 2 epl games though...

not many choice in pivot.....our wonderkid MVG also out for the season currently....

so how against arsenal later....my opinion mou soudl go cautious and field 4-3-3......let mikel-ramires-lampard control midfield....
