QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Nov 9 2013, 09:20 PM)
for me this dude have been very neat and tidy and keep it compact in midfield...he deserve to play but due to his over defensive quality we should field him if our front 3 is too attacking minded...i notice why we won 3-0 at schalke is though schurrle, oscar and willian might not be so brilliant offensively, but they are incredibly hard working and quickly covered the space when we are defending and dont have the ball.....even in the jose comments he appreciate those qualities very much...

to me football is about 2 type of play..when you have the ball and when you dont have the ball....obviously the team he pick against schalke is very good in both those type....im not sure if hes gonna maintain that tonite or revert to much more offensive ppl tonite...

Excellent point you made there.
Jose makes his team selection based on that. He plays player who can provide both types of work rate. However, the likes of Hazard and Mata have exceptional attacking qualities on the ball. So he has to allow some adjustments in the balance of the team. The team vs Schalke are hard working players, but I don't think that is the best possible line up overall.

Very interesting choices. hmm.gif Azpi at left back? Maybe Jose is finally impress by him in the game against Schalke? Willian seems to be benefiting for his performance against Schalke too. thumbup.gif

Don't you think Iva and Azpi should swap roles. Let Iva be the more reserved full back, and let Azpi attack and put crosses on his favoured side.

Ball is moving really slow in the attacking half. while some players are attempting to dribble, others wait and look only. So how to get the openings?

a goal is always good.. but with all the flair we got in the team, this is a poor 1st half.

Shud bring on ba for 2nd half. Need another striker to attack all the high ball. 4-3-3 would do the trick.

Iva have been poor with the cross, or could be our forward is not good enough to put the body in...yes, should let azpi try his favourite side.
