if you're not planning to flash custom rom, not necessary need to backup. just use your phone as normal

but if you want extra precaution you still can do it

this happens with invalid number only..normal call is ok wor.. damn buggy la z1..

I think the complain for Z1 started since someone compare it to Z ultra IPS screen (which has colder colour temp)

Note 2 screen is not accurate, I means start from S4. My Note 3 color is white enough and not over white, I don't see any demo set got yellowish, blueish, greenish issue yet.

And base on my previous Xperia Z, it is too white until slightly blueish.

My Xperia Z Ultra wise ok.

Whatever *ish... the best is let user adjust itself the screen color, everyone prefer different color tones, the most accurate does not means everyone like also. Example Note 3 color is damn accurate when set to Movie mode but I don't like, for professional mode wise, it is following Adobe RGB, in general it is much warmer and wider gamut.

How the screen goes, at least can preferable set is great, Xperia Z can, Z Ultra and Z1 cannot as Sony stupidly remove it. Note 3 can set easily via Screen mode or manually via Colour adjustment.

i just tried with invalid number, same to me as well. press end call, there say ending call but the speech still go on

i guess only solution for us now is avoid invalid numbers

it seems sony left out many stuffs from the previous flagships on Z1

1st is the screen settings / calibration. then there's this double tap to wake up function, Z ultra and Tablet Z got i don't see a reason why they don't bring it over to Z1. these little stuffs can change people's perception towards sony

Z Ultra don't have double tap to wake up. Sony only do it under Tablet Z.

owh because i heard sum1 said before ZU have. then sony made a bigger mistake here

that function is very handy. now need to depend on dev to port it over

Ya, double tap to wake up is useful, even LG purposely promote it.

Dunno how Sony think, removing this and that features.

For this year 2013

• Xperia ZL - initial release with White Balance control.
• Xperia Z - initial release don't have White Balance control, only appear after few updates.
• Xperia Tablet Z - came with solid screen panel and double tap to wake up feature but don't have white balance control. The only device with double tap to wake up.
• Xperia Z Ultra - came with solid screen panel but don't have white balance control and solid stable until they implement the backlight optimization which some user face fake hang and SOD. Some more it degrade the screen quality, much dimmer and dull.
• Xperia Z1 - don't have white balance control and same some user face fake hang and SOD due to backlight optimization. That useless features make the screen much dull and worst more the viewing angle. I had try turn it off before during test out, and the viewing angle is much better without it.

not only invalid number, if the person didnt pick up the call also the same thing happen.. if some emergency thing happen needed to call then hope sony could fix this asap

Wow, angel girl, actually out of S2, S4 and note 2, i found note 2 is the most white, which was used to capture this photo, what a waste. I will still remain my stance, it will only became obvious when you compare...

Don't think this is BIG issue and no longer matter, i just want to state my point, when you compare, it is more apparent. For daily, you wont care that much, just getting used to it, maybe after you saw other panel, then you will ask why so blueish....haiz........ this is the power of internet, when someone make a big deal out of it, people aware of it and start to make discussion in it, while previously people just don't give a admn

Not really, when you put the brightness to lowest....the green very ugly. Landscape looks good, grass and leaves became greener, but people face became slightly ugly, sad.

For all the Z1 user, introduce one game, Reaper: the tale of a pale swordman.
