Dont break into small pcs. Just cut into half ir 1/3 if too big.
In small pcs much faster disintegrate and may pollute the tank.

How do you maintain your TDS level? Do you use your tap water during water change or Diamond water?
*
Use Diamond water with mineral rock and mineral balls

I was thinking of small pieces to stuff into crevices around the driftwood since the shrimplets like to hide there. No go I suppose.

Suspect your house tap water contain high level of copper.
copper is fatal to shrimp not to fish.
Only good anti chlorine can bind these heavy metal.

I found out that someone is selling the Hawaiian Red Shrimp (Opae Ula) at Singapore. Below is the website. I email the owner. He told me that he doesn't deliver to Malaysia. It looks like I'll be going to Singapore to buy them when I go to Johor to attend some events in the future.
